"Dunk, I don't think this is a good idea."

Dunk smiles a little, he can feel his husband's restless emotion. He has been like this since Dunk asked his permission to go to meet up with Daniel, his old friend. Dunk understands that he is worrying about the omega's condition. Pregnant with three babies at the same time is really hard for Dunk. He is already in his seventh month of pregnancy and Dunk can't even walk properly. But Dunk insisted that he wants to do this, this won't harm anyone since they are going to meet in the cafe near Joong and Dunk's apartment. Everything is gonna be okay.

Now they are in their car, waiting for Joong to unlock the car's door and to let go of Dunk for a while because they are already arriving at the said cafe. Maybe Daniel is already there inside.

"Don't worry, I will call you if there is anything wrong with my condition."

Dunk looks at his husband's eyes and he understands that his husband is not only worrying about his pregnancy condition, there is something more. His possessiveness demeanor. Dunk, his seven months pregnant husband, will meet another alpha that Joong isn't really familiar with.

"Joong, you believe in me right?"

Joong sighs. "You can read me very well."

"Of course, I am."

Joong finally looks back at him and he looks like a sad puppy. "I know it's wrong to feel this much possessive of you, but I really can't control what I feel. I don't like seeing you talking with another alpha, especially if it's just the two of you."

One of the reasons why Dunk wanted to do this is not only because he wants to meet Daniel, but he also wants to calm this side of Joong Archen, his alpha. Joong's attachment issue with him is nearly reaching the roof, sometimes it scares Dunk, he doesn't want his husband's life only to revolve around him. Although he likes it, he wants Joong to have time for himself. He barely had that in the past seven months. Dunk is just using this to make Joong realize that everything is gonna be okay even though they aren't standing side by side.

They will only be separated in less than two hours.

"Joong, we will meet again in 2 hours, everything is gonna be okay." Dunk touches his husband's cheeks and pats it softly. Then he smiles and Joong melts for his husband's touch and smile.

"Go home, ok? And pick me up again in 2 hours."

Dunk sees that Joong finally gives in and nods. "Two hours."

Dunk nods back. "Two hours." He kisses his husband for a short moment and he hears Joong unlocks the car and lets his pregnant husband walks inside the cafe.

Joong keeps his promise to him by the way their car is leaving the cafe and Dunk smiles at the sight. He can always trust his husband for his words. With a heavy stomach, Dunk enters the cafe slowly and sees the familiar face smile beamingly at him.

"DAN!"

Daniel is his alpha friend, who was also his old roommate for so long, he is a Singaporean and has a chinese descendant. He was having his bachelor degree in Germany, same as Dunk. His body is so bulky because he loves to work out so much and he is crazy tall, even taller than Joong and Dunk, he is another giant. He has small eyes but his eye's smile is so pretty.

They usually talk in English but sometimes Dunk taught him how to talk in Thailand. And right now he tries to greet him in Thai language once Dunk is sitting in front of him. "Sawasdee-khap? Am I right? And oh my God Dunk, you are...."

"Big." Dunk laughs. He misses Daniel so much, he is so fun to talk with.

"No, I want to say that you are gorgeous." Daniel laughs with him when Dunk shows him his wedding ring to reply to his words.

"I'm married, friend."

Daniel nods. "Yeah I know, I feel so bad that I couldn't attend your wedding a year ago. I was in Africa at that time, my research couldn't conclude in timely manner so i couldn't get out from that continent as i wished i could be."

Daniel is an archeologist, he is more familiar with artifacts and fossils than a human being. Dunk wants to laugh at that. Right now he is in Thailand because he has done some research here, that's why they can meet each other like this.

"No worries, Dan, I understand."

They order some drinks and cake and Daniel starts to ask something he wants to ask so badly since maybe three years ago, since he knew that his old roommate was already having his own mate, his alpha.

"So how is life, Dunk? We haven't met for so long, I want a life update from you. And how is it your husband slash alpha? Is he great?"

Dunk shares his life update to his old friend and he doesn't forget to ask back how life was for Daniel. They talk comfortably for so long, Dunk kinda misses the old time. Of course, Dunk doesn't tell the story of when he almost died and all the sad things he and Joong encountered in their life. It's not something he wants to talk about to other people at the moment. Right now he is so happy with his life, so he wants to tell the story of how happy he is with Joong right now.

"And your question about my husband slash alpha, he is great, Dan. He impregnated me with three babies at the same time."

Daniel's eyes get bigger because he is shocked by the news and then he whistles in teasing manner that makes Dunk's cheek getting red because he knows the implicit meaning behind those teasing looks.

"Damn it, he must be crazy protective of you. It's so amazing how he can let you go with another alpha when you are carrying three of his children."

Dunk nods. "He is, it's not easy to make him agree with this, especially when he knows that you were my first kiss."

Daniel laughs out loud. His laughter is so loud until people in the cafe take a look at them. "I remembered that day!"

"I was crazy back then."

"Yeah, you were drunk and you said to me that you couldn't have any romantic feelings for everyone and that's such a pity because you wanted to kiss someone so badly. The next thing you grabbed my head and kissed me. I was so shocked but i almost wanted to kiss you back, i thought you were an alpha back then, i was considering an alpha and alpha relationship with you. But you break my imagination with saying kissing me didn't feel good."

This time, Dunk is the one who is shocked by the information. "What? You want to... what ?"

"I liked you, Dunk."

Huh?

"But you never showed me any interest like I did to you. And because i thought you were an alpha, you didn't have any omega smells back then, i thought you weren't into alpha and alpha relationship that's why i never tell you anything."

Wow.

"Wow i'm glad you didn't tell me, it must be awkward for us."

Dan nods. "Yeah, but don't worry, my feelings for you are long gone. But I kinda wonder, if i ever tell you how i feel back then, will you give me a chance? Will you try to like me back?"

Dunk smiles at the question because he knows the answer in a heartbeat. The answer is no. The reason why he couldn't like any other alphas in his teenage days, it's because his heart knows where he belongs. It belongs to Joong, even though his mind didn't remember him but his heart always belonged to Joong. And all the time he was waiting to meet again with that man. Now everything is falling into its place, everything in his and Joong's past were meant to be that way so they could meet again and fall in love with each other again.

It's the universe's grandiose way to tell them that they are destined with each other. Even though most of the part was a painful thing, it was all they needed to take to be with each other.

And everything is worth it in the end.

"No." Dunk answers Daniel's question and his old friend doesn't look hurt at all by the answer.

"That's why I liked you so much back then, Dunk. You always know what you want and what you don't want. You are a very cool friend. I really want to meet your husband, I want to see someone that you want so badly until you agree to get married at a young age."

Dunk grimaces at his friend's sentence. "We aren't that young, Dan."

"For me, to marry someone before we reach thirties is still considered young, Dunk."

Dunk laughs a little while shaking his head. "Wait until you find someone, maybe your omega, your mate , you will laugh at your own words."

Daniel is laughing with him. "I wonder who it will be. But right now, I will give my 100% to my work. I love my job so much."

"I know that."

Dunk wants to ask again about Daniel's job when he smells the familiar contrast of light, sweet notes of pear, and bergamot with dark and intense woody notes. Joong is here. Dunk looks at his wrist watch and smiles when he realizes that it's exactly 2 hours since Joong left him alone. He keeps on his promise. And that being said, it's already 2 hours of talking with Daniel. Really, catching up on life with old friends sometimes makes people not aware about time.

"By the way, Dan, do you want to meet my husband? He is here."

Daniel's eyes lit up in excitement. "Of course."

"Ok, just don't say anything about our kiss or the fact that you had your feelings for me back then. I don't want to take care of sulky husband tonight." Daniel laughs at the request.

"God, he already has all of you and even knocked you down with three babies and he can be jealous over something small like that?"

Dunk nods his head. "He will."

Dunk opens his phone and calls his husband. Joong picks up the phone after one ring, Dunk smiles at it. "Babe, come here, my friend wants to meet you."

Joong comes inside so fast, as if he was waiting for this. Now he is sitting next to Dunk and tries his best to give his best smile to Daniel who looks so happy to meet Dunk's husband. It's so funny how Joong is really trying to control his possessiveness in this encounter. He is all smiling and friendly to Daniel but his hand on Dunk's waist, his protective touch can't cover what he feels inside. Dunk is releasing his calming pheromones and Joong is thankful for that, it eases his restlessness.

They chit chat for another thirty minutes and it's already time for Daniel to leave because he needs to go to his excavation site. Joong is pretty much amused by Daniel's job and he was asking a lot about that in the past thirty minutes, leaving Dunk alone observing how the alphas talk with each other.

Before Daniel is leaving for real, he takes a look at the couple in front of him and gives them his bestest eye's smile ever.

"You two really look good together, look like a match made in heaven. I'm so glad that you came into Dunk's life, Joong Archen."

Joong smiles at the comments and nods. "Thank you."

"I wish all the happiness for both of you and your children." Daniel sounds so genuine it warms Dunk's heart. "Let us catch up on life in another time, Dunk Natachai. Next time, I will see you bring your kids in front of me."

Dunk nods and it feels really great to have a friend that is so close with him like Daniel. Even though they might not see each other everyday, they will always be friends. And whenever they meet again and talk about their life, they will know that they are still friends, no matter how long they don't meet with each other. Friends are not only for the person who is always on your side, physically , but also for the person who is always praying and hoping for your happiness in silence, in a very far place.

The one who wants to see you happy, even though they can't be by your side everyday.

That is a friend.

"See, everything is okay, right? Dan is such a good person."

Dunk is lying on his husband's lap on the comfortable sofa tonight, after the meeting with Daniel. Joong is reading something on his tablet while playing with Dunk's hair.

"Yeah, he is pretty cool, not as cool as me though."

Dunk laughs at Joong's self compliment, he wants to give his husband another compliment at how good he is on controlling his jealousy today but suddenly he feels pains in his stomach. Joong can sense that so he anxiously closes his tablet and looks at his husband with worried eyes.

"What's wrong?"

The pain is getting too strong, suddenly Dunk can't say anything, he can only wince in pain and tries his best to take his breath. It's getting hard to breathe, it feels like someone is giving too much pressure on his lungs.

"We're going to the hospital." Joong is dead serious right now. His body is tense.

Joong is so strong, he is now carrying Dunk to his car. Dunk is still so much in pain until he cries in silence. Suddenly everything is hurt, it feels like his body is going to break into pieces.

"It's okay, baby, everything is gonna be alright. Stay with me." Joong never releases his hold on Dunk's hands on their way to the hospital.

That time, they both didn't know that it would be the last easy day of Dunk's pregnancy.

Dunk is hospitalized for two whole months after that day. He never really left the hospital until his labor day. He is having a very close monitor from his doctor. Three babies are getting too much for Dunk's body, especially for someone who had a miscarriage before from a heavy car accident.

Dunk is in so much pain, but he is holding on. For Joong and their children. And because of that, Joong is also holding on. They intertwined their hands on this together. The air surrounding them, once again feels like heavy clouds. Especially when Dunk's doctor said...

"We need to abort one of the babies, so the two will survive. You can't take three of them."

Joong still remembered how painful those words were from the doctor to him, but for Dunk's it felt like a death sentence. He cried all night long that day. He didn't want to give up on his babies, even one from them.

"No, Joong. I don't want to give up on any of them. I want to keep them all. They are our children."

If Dunk, the one who bears all the pain, says that, can Joong say the other way?

Dunk is very strong. He is stronger than Joong and any other alphas and omegas surrounding them. The pain of this pregnancy is indescribable, but he is taking it all with a grateful heart. Everyday they are praying together, in each other's hands, they pray that the babies will come out healthily and Dunk will be okay. But Joong can't turn blind eye everytime he sees his husband cry in silence because of how painful it is. He can't move his body in the past two months, he is just laying carefully in his patient bed and just holding on all the pain from this pregnancy.

"Dunk, if only I can have a little amount of your pain. Please just give it to me." Joong cries together with Dunk and that beautiful and strong omega is only touching his cheek to console him.

He is in so much pain but he can give his happiest smile when the doctor shows them their babies through the ultrasound sonography. Not only Joong and Dunk, the babies are holding on inside Dunk's body. There is one of their babies who is almost not moving for the past nine months to protect the other two babies. Dunk is crying at the sight.

"He or she is protecting his/her siblings. We must protect all of them, Joong."

And after nine months, today is the day when Joong and Dunk will meet their babies. Both of the parents can't sleep last night and Joong's heart fills with so much worry and fear. Joong and Dunk's parents are present in the hospital, together with Pond and his two months pregnant husband, Phuwin. Everyone has been here in the past two months, to give them support they need.

"It will be okay, Joong. Dunk is so strong." Phuwin tells him before Joong enters the operation room to accompany his partner.

"We are gonna meet Dunk and the babies soon. Today will end happily, don't worry, friend." This time, Pond reassures him that everything is gonna be okay.

Joong gives a look to his parents and Dunk's parents before entering the operating room where Dunk lays half conscious. "Hey, baby." He calls Joong as soon as he recognizes his husband's face.

Joong holds Dunk's hand and gives his bestest smile. "I'm here, stay with me, babe. We're gonna meet our children soon." Joong releases his calming pheromone to calm Dunk's nervousness.

The operation begins after that.

Dunk can't give birth normally, so the doctors need to perform a cesarean operation to bring the babies out to the world. The doctors didn't give Dunk full anesthesia, so he still has his half consciousness. He keeps looking at Joong and Joong won't ever look at anything else except for his soulmate.

That time, he really wants to cry at how magical that moment is. They both went a lot to finally be able to reach this far. While looking at Dunk's pale face Joong is remembering everything that has happened in their life and he feels so grateful that they are able to have all of this.

"Joong, don't cry." Dunk tries to wipe off Joong's tears that are streaming down on his handsome face.

"I love you, I love you so much, Dunk Natachai." Joong can't say another word except for that.

"I love you too, thank you for being born and let me know you and meet you." But Dunk's words are more beautiful than everything he has ever heard, it really warms Joong's heart until he can't really stop crying.

He stops crying when he feels Dunk's hold on his hand is getting stronger and the next thing he hears a loud crying from a baby who is just born.

That moment, Joong's head goes blank and he can't feel his own breathing. This feels so majestic and crazy at the same time.

Then, not too long, another cry is heard.

While waiting for the last one, Dunk's face is getting too worried. Because it takes really long.

"Where is the last one?"

Joong wants to say something, but another loud cry is heard and Dunk finally can breathe.

"Congratulations, you both are having three babies."

The doctors are doing something with the operation below them and the nurses are showing Joong and Dunk their babies. Another majestic moment of Joong and Dunk's life when their eyes finally lay on those beautiful and handsome babies which are... theirs .

"The first born is a daughter, an alpha girl."

When the nurse shows him his first born, Dunk knows by heart that this is the baby that didn't move on his womb at all to protect his little brother or sister. Dunk holds the baby in his embrace and cries at her sight.

"Dao."

He can see Dao in his first born as if his older twin brother is reborn on this little girl of his. "Joong, can I name her.. Dao ?"

Joong smiles at him and nods. "She is the star that guides her little brothers or sisters in the darkest moments and protects them. It suits her. She is so beautiful like you, look at her eyes, it's identical with you, Dunk."

Then the nurse takes Dao away and gives the parents their second born.

"A son, an alpha boy."

Their second born is an alpha like Joong, and he looks exactly like him. The way he is tanner than his alpha sister is also so cute. "This one really looks like you, Joong. Look at his nose! So cute!" Dunk smiles at him while embracing his second born. "You name it, Joong."

Dunk's pregnancy was full of chaotic moments until Joong and Dunk not really preparing the names for their children. But if their first born is named as a star...

"Can I name him Arthit ?"

Dunk tilts his head. "Sun?"

" Duean ." Both Joong and Dunk say the name together. They look at each other and smile.

If there is Star and Sun, there must be another important thing to complete them.

Even though it can't shine on its own like the star and the sun, the moon is so important to this world. It gives a sign that life won't always be the same just like how the moon is always changing, adjusting to its phase. Sometimes we are gonna face happy times and other times sad times, but life always comes full circle.

Nothing will last forever, so live your life at the fullest.

"I'm so happy that we can protect them all, Joong. I'm so happy we didn't give up on any of them." Dunk says at the end with teary eyes.

"Me too, babe. I'm so happy that we are able to meet Dao, Arthit, and Duean. Our Star, Sun, and Moon . Thank you for holding on and giving me another happiness, Dunk Natachai."

"Thank you for always being by my side, Joong Archen."

Maybe raising three children at the same time is gonna be hard, but both Joong and Dunk agree that their happiness will be multiplied three times with the existence of their lovely babies.

And with that, Joong and Dunk's lifes are once again being completed with the appearance of:

Joong walks out from his office building and he hears a loud sigh from the other end of the call. "Seriously Joong? We are almost reaching our forties and you still ask me to eat together? Moreover, today is your birthday. Where is your family?"

That nagging of Pond Naravit still sounds the same.

Ten years have passed and they are all old enough to nag at each other but they are still all the same like they were ten years ago.

"The kids are camping with their school today and Dunk is accompanying them. I'm alone on my birthday, friend. I can't complain about it either because they were already gone two days ago. I don't want to eat alone, c'mon let's eat at the Donburi restaurant near your place?" Joong is begging like a sad puppy and Pond doesn't buy it.

"Nah, I skip. I have some agendas with Phuwin tonight."

"What? Making another child? Yes please, your son must be so lonely to live alone all this time, he needs a sibling!" Joong laughs at Pond's low growl at him.

"I will cut this call, bye Joong. So sorry to hear you need to eat alone on your birthday."

"Hey, Pond!"

Pond just ended the call.

Damn.

Joong drives his car back to his house, he has thought in mind that he will cook an instant noodle tonight and call it a day. He has nothing to do on his birthday, not when his families are busy with their own agendas. Sad.

When he reaches his little house, he is shocked by how he can smell his husband's pheromones.

No way...

He opens his front door and when he is present in front of his people, the loud scream starts to be heard. It's definitely his ten years old kid, Duean's voice.

"DAD! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

So they are all lying about the camp today, they are doing that to surprise him on his birthday. Joong almost wants to cry at his children and his husband's idea to make him happy today.

Now in front of him, there is Arthit who is bringing him a cake with a self written words 'Happy birthday to the greatest dad ever, Joog Achen.'

Yeah you aren't reading it wrong, Joong's oldest son wrote his name wrong. It's cute either way.

Dao, the calmest of all of them, is only smiling at him while holding a banner that shows her painting of their little family. Dunk's talent in painting is definitely down to Dao.

"Dad, I painted this myself. A present for you." She says cheerily and Joong wants to kiss his daughter at her cuteness but his sons cover their older sister away from Joong's reach.

"Boys, c'mon. She is my daughter." Joong complains and he can see Dunk laughs at the back.

"No, you need to take a bath first before kissing Dao because you are dirty, Dad." Of course, only Duean who can blatantly say something like this.

Joong smiles at Duean's words and the next thing, he puts down his bag and takes Arthit's cake and Dao's paint to give it to Dunk. His children realize it late, because Joong is fast to grab them all at once and hug them all at the same time.

"AAAAA DAD! YOU ARE DIRTY!"

"DAD!!"

The kids are complaining but they are all hugging their father still. It warms Joong hearts. He really loves his adorable kids. Then he looks up to his husband. He reaches out his hand to Dunk and asks him to join them in this circle hug.

Dunk laughs and joins them.

"Happy birthday, love." Dunk whispers at him and it makes Joong smile brightly.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!" Arthit and Duean's are screaming at the same time. And Dao's soft "Happy birthday" follows after.

Today is another happy day for Joong and Dunk's life.

As for Joong, he once again realizes that.. He is no longer alone.

He used to hate his birthday so much because it was the day when he felt like his parents lost everything because he was born in this life. Everytime he spent his birthday alone, the pain was insufferable. But right now, he is just glad that he was born into this world.

Because of that, he can have all of this in his hand right now.

The people who remind him that he has no more lonely life.

And he doesn't need to eat alone anymore.
