"Levi- I knew your preferences in tea before all of this, I would have waiters send over tea with a shitload of sugar in it to bother you when I was younger."

"Payback," he shrugged, loosening up for the first time since we had left the small town the carriage stopped in for the night. "You have to admit it was a little funny."

"Likewise," I paused, grumbling loudly, "god, when did you get so insufferable- it used to be fun hating you."

and then it just got exhausting

"I could say the same thing about you, if you would only agree to strike a deal we could go back to ignoring each other, but instead you're dragging this out."

"Now I remember why I stopped enjoying it, you started to think I was a fucking idiot and tried to get me to agree to your stupid deal."

"If you think it's that stupid come negotiate with me instead of walking away and throwing a fit in public every time."
