Chapter 03
Chapter 03
It's finally weekend, and Yoongi and Taehyung are standing at the school's parking lot, waiting for Jimin and Seokjin to arrive since the four of them decided to have a sleepover together, after school. Yoongi couldn't think clearly. His mind was stuck on his parents that may be getting a divorce soon.
So Yoongi was stressed out and lit up a cigarette. The sparkle in Taehyung's eyes disappears when seeing Yoongi. "Smoking won't get rid of your problems," Taehyung mumbles, hoping he didn't sound rude to his hyung. "I'm gonna pretend like it does," Yoongi mumbles back. What Yoongi doesn't know is, Seokjin and Jimin is at the parking lot, walking up to Yoongi.
Jimin frownes at the sight of Yoongi with a cigarette. Jimin didn't know about Yoongi's parents, but even if he did, he wouldn't let Yoongi use it as an excuse to slowly kill his insides. So before Yoongi has the chance to greet Jimin and Seokjin when he sees them, Jimin takes Yoongi's cigarette, drops it on the ground and aggressively steps on it.
Jimin then puts his hands inside of Yoongi's jacket pockets, to check if he has anymore cigarettes that he can have the pleasure of throwing away. Yoongi did have a pack of cigarettes in the pocket Jimin checked secondly. "Jimin-" Yoongi cuts himself off when Jimin throws his pack of cigarettes in a nearby trash can. He sighs at Jimin. Slightly pissed, but his cigarettes didn't really mean much to him so he didn't say anything to Jimin.
Seokjin avoided the scene and started his car. Taehyung also flees out of the situation and sits in the passenger's seat of Seokjin's car. Silence filles the car and when Yoongi tires to lay his hand on Jimin's thigh, Jimin slappes it away. Jimin feels like every single time Yoongi had comforted him from cutting himself, were just words, just useless actions and just lies. Him telling Jimin how hurting yourself isn't the way, and yet here Yoongi is, hurting himself in another way. Yoongi never cries, but he felt like doing it when Jimin slapped his hand away. "I'm sor-" "Shut up," Jimin cuts Yoongi off in a whisper.
"I won't do it again okay? I'm sorry it's just, I'm really frustrated right now," Yoongi explained vaguely. "I wouldn't c-care about you smoking if it w-weren't for the t-times were you comforted me for c-cutting. Smoking or cutting, it's the s-same thing and I feel like all you've told m-me was just a l-lie. Where's that self-respect, you always t-talk about?" Jimin says, almost whispering, not wanting to get Seokjin or Taehyung involved in this.
But they hear it and they give each other sad glances every once in awhile. "No, Jimin please don't think about it like that," Jimin just remaines silent before getting curious. "What are you so f-frustrated about a-anyways?" Jimin asks the platinum blonde haired boy. "I think my parents are getting a divorce," Yoongi says without much emotion.
As always, he wears his "I don't care, I have no emotions," look on his face, but Jimin can always tell when Yoongi is hurt. All he needs to do is look at his eyes and he can tell for sure. Jimin, still hurt by Yoongi's actions from earlier, takes Yoongi's hand in his, tracing flowers in his pale skin. Yoongi lets a single tear, fall down his cheek, his face still remaining emotionless.
Jimin forgets about being hurt, as he unbuckles his seat belt to be able to hug Yoongi. And that's what he does. He hugs his hyung, after kissing the tear on his cheek. "Yah, Jimin! Stop making out with Yoongi and get your seat belt back on," Seokjin says to make sure Jimin is safe, also to let them picture the two of them making out. Jimin didn't. Yoongi did. You can blame the dirty mind Yoongi was cursed with, but Jimin isn't very innocent himself.
After a few minutes they, once again, reach Seokjin's big house. "Hello boys," Seokjin's mother smiles at them, as Seokjin's three friends, bows politely for the small woman. Seokjin got his height from his dad, but he still isn't very tall. Taller than Jimin and a tiny bit taller than Taehyung. No one is taller than Yoongi though. The four boys walk inside and immediately run up the stairs to Seokjin's room.
"The next time I see you smoke, I won't make food for you anymore," Seokjin suddenly tells Yoongi when he remembers what they were talking about a moment ago. Yoongi widens his eyes. "I won't, okay? Just keep on making me food, please," Yoongi begged Seokjin and he just chuckles at the sight of Yoongi actually begging. Begging isn't a thing Yoongi would do. "The reason you w-won't smoke, better be because o-of me," Jimin whisperes in Yoongi's ear when Yoongi sits down next to Jimin on Seokjin's bed.
Every time they're over, the first thing Jimin does is sit on Seokjin's bed. Followed by Yoongi sitting next to him and then they end up cuddling. Yoongi is getting goosebumps by Jimin's whisper. Yoongi then decides to turn his head a bit to look at Jimin. Jimin who is oh so close to his face from whispering in his ear. Their face, their lips and bodies very close as they stared at each others lips for a while.
Seokjin cleared his throat and Yoongi and Jimin, fastly moved away from each other, still sitting next to each other though. Both Yoongi and Jimin decided to ignore what just happened. They're always close like that, but they both felt a longing for each others lips this time, but since that thought just weirded them both out, they ignore that too.Yoongi is used to ignoring his feelings anyways. Jimin is used to ignore the hunger in his stomach, so he should be able to ignore the hunger for Yoongi's touch as well. Or so he thought.
Jimin laid down and Yoongi cuddled up to him, being tired like he always was. "I promise, everything I've ever said wasn't lies. I'm sorry for going against the words and advice that I once gave you, but I don't want this to make you doubt the words I have spoken, Jiminie," Yoongi whispers to Jimin, closing his eyes. Jimin nods. "It's okay," Jimin forgives Yoongi, but he's still sad about the situation. "I'm sorry about your p-parents. Everything is g-going to be a-alright," Jimin whispers back.
"You know...we haven't been at our tryst in a while," Yoongi reminds Jimin who just hums a yes. A tryst is actually only a tryst when it's for lovers, they knew that, but that wasn't gonna stop them from calling it a tryst. They knew they acted like boyfriends anyways.
Seokjin and Taehyung has already left the room. "I swear why don't they just make out," Taehyung sighs. "I kind of don't think they never will," Seokjin speaks and Taehyung furrows his eyebrows at the pink haired boy. "Don't get me wrong, I ship them, but I feel like nothing will ever really happen between them," Seokjin speaks. Taehyung's features softens when an idea pops up in his mind.
"I bet 17,000 won that they'll kiss, on the lips I mean," Taehyung challenges his hyung. "But they could easily kiss each other in a friendly way," Seokjin reminds Taehyung. "Friends doesn't just casually kiss each other. I guess it's more normal for girls, but it's not something guys do," Taehyung speaks. Seokjin raises his eyebrows at Taehyung's words. "We're talking about Jimin and Yoongi," Seokjin once again reminds Taehyung.
"Right. Okay well then, when they make out," Taehyung says, still wanting to make this bet because he knows he's gonna win. "Okay deal," Seokjin shook Taehyung's hand. "Hey, can we order some food?" Yoongi asks, quietly yelling to the two boys outside of Seokjin's bedroom.
"I'm n-not really h-hungry though, c-can't w-" "Shut up Jimin, I know you're hungry." Yoongi heard Jimin's stomach growling. Yoongi is quite hungry himself, but didn't say anything since he thought he could wait until the others got hungry as well. But then he heard Jimin's stomach. "Take out? How about I cook something instead?" Seokjin asks, standing in the doorway to his room, looking at the two cuddling boys.
Yoongi nods and gets up to help his hyung cook. "Taetae!" Jimin shouts for his friend when Taehyung was about to follow the other boys downstairs. "Carry m-me," Jimin says, sitting up before making grabby hands at Taehyung. Taehyung lightly chuckles "So lazy," he sighs as he turns around for Jimin to get on his back. "You're so light," Taehyung's words confused Jimin.
"But I'm f-fat," Jimin quietly mumbles when Taehyung has made it down the stairs with Jimin. "Why would you think that?" Taehyung proceeds to walk to the kitchen where Yoongi and Seokjin are thinking about what to make for dinner. Seokjin's mother would cook for them if she was home, but her and Seokjin's father is having a date.
Seokjin's mother and father are the most perfect couple ever. Rarely fought, truly loves each other and their son. They always makes sure to spend time together, and they truly are a perfect example of what a family should be like.
Jimin has it fine. His dad died when his mother was pregnant with Jimin, but both him and his mom is very happy. They love each other a lot and Jimin is the most precious and important thing for his mother. Jimin also has an older brother. He's 25 years old and he lives in Japan with his wife so they don't see each other often.
Taehyung's parents doesn't really care about him. His parents loves each other and they also love Taehyung and his little brother. But they don't really care. They often leave Taehyung to take care of his little brother as they go out for business trips. And when they actually are home, they never talk to their son. They never wonder where Taehyung is, if he was out at night.
They didn't take interest in his life or his younger brother's life. Taehyung is raising his little brother and not his parents, but Taehyung isn't really complaining. He does believe that it should be his parent's job and not his, but there isn't anything more important in this world than his own little brother.
Yoongi gets his "I don't care, I have no emotions," look from his father. Not that his father doesn't care, his father cares, he just sucks at showing it, but Yoongi knows that his dad loves him. It's the same situation with his mother. Yoongi is happy with his family, but if he wished to change one thing it would be the fact that his parents doesn't support Yoongi's dream of becoming a rapper. But Yoongi is currently working on his own homemade mixtape and he wants to post it somewhere online when it's finished. He's hoping to get recognized.
One of Jimin's bullies, a friend of Jungkook, is called Namjoon. Namjoon has a father that's a co-owner of a music company. Yoongi sometimes wishes Namjoon was a decent person and that they were friends so his dad could notice him. For Yoongi, it's not to use someone, but just like asking for a favour.
"That's w-what people s-say," Jimin quietly speaks. When Taehyung finally made it to Seokjin's kitchen, he puts Jimin down. "People? You mean Jungkook? Don't listen to that idiot," Taehyung hugged Jimin. "Taetae?" Taehyung hums. "You smell g-good," Jimin giggled and that makes Taehyung smile and laugh. It also makes Yoongi look at them in jealousy. And Yoongi really is the jealous type.
He doesn't like it when people gets close to what's his, and for Yoongi, Jimin definitely is his.
