Chapter 08
Chapter 08
"We have a new dancer today," Jimin's dance teacher Kim Jong-in starts off the dance lesson. Jimin looks around his dance team, but doesn't find the new kid. "Jungkook." Kim Jong-in says and at that: Jimin widens his eyes. Jungkook stands beside Jong-in and bows. "Let's take a quick nameround," Jong-in says.
Everyone says their name and when they finally reach to Jimin, Jungkook slightly widens his eyes. He hadn't seen Jimin before now. "P-Park Jimin," Jimin says even though Jungkook already knows his name.
They quickly move on, only a few left to say their names. They are 20 dancers on this dance team. This dance team is pretty advanced, people from 15 to 25 and Jimin is known as one of the best dancers there, even though he's only 16 and the other so called 'best dancers' are older. Everyone knew of Jimin's anxiety and stuttering and they were all very supportive.
Even though, when it came to dancing and performing dance, You really aren't able to see any trace of anxiety within Jimin. They are all good acquaintances with Jimin, maybe even friends and they all have a good relationship. Jimin is afraid that that might change because of Jungkook.
The dance studio is a place where Jimin can escape, dancing is a place where Jimin can escape. And he doesn't want Jungkook to ruin that. "Alright Jungkook, we're currently learning the dance to Never Ever by Got7, so try and keep up," Jong-in smiles at him and Jungkook nods. Jimin already learned the dance, so him skipping the last few times weren't that bad.
The class continues like it usually does: Jong-in teaches the dance and the dance students learns. Jimin follows the class and does what everyone else does even though he already knows how to do everything. Sometimes Jimin learns the geographies for dances that he likes in his spare time and Never ever by Got7 just happened to be one of them.

"Are you serious? Jungkook?" Jimin told Seokjin and Taehyung about the whole Jungkook being on his dance team situation. Yoongi already knows, but that's not the reason why he didn't hear it again. Yoongi just isn't there. This is Yoongi's fourth day skipping school. "It's goning to be okay. Who knows maybe he'll get some respect for your dancing skills and be less mean to you," Seokjin says hopefully. "Just because Namjoon happened to be a good guy, doesn't mean they all are," Taehyung says and Seokjin nods understanding.
"Hey, where is Yoongi?" Seokjin asks looking at Jimin. "P-Probably at h-home," he shrugs. "Hey faggot!" Jackson hits Jimin hard on his back when he by passes him. "Check your phone," Hoseok whispers with a chuckle before leaving to his lunch table. Jimin grabs his phone from the lunch table and sees the usual texts he gets from the unknown number. "What does he mean by that?" Taehyung asks. Jimin sighs and shows him the text messages he's gotten. He hasn't told any of them any of this. Not even Yoongi.
He doesn't want the other guys involved with in his problems more than they already are. Especially Yoongi. Taehyung furrows his eyebrows. "Why are all these messages, things that Jungkook usually calls you?" Taehyung raises an eyebrows and looks over to Jungkook who's laughing with his friends. A feeling of rage strikes within Taehyung as he gets up from his seat and almost runs to Jungkook.
"Tae, s-stop," Jimin calls but Taehyung still moves his feet. He grabs Jungkook by the collar making the dark brunette widen his eyes. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Taehyung yells in his face and Jungkook immediately puts his hands up in surrender. "It's not me Tae, I promise." Taehyung removes his hands from him.
"Then who is it?" Jungkook looks at Jackson, but Taehyung doesn't notice that. "I can't tell you," he says making Taehyung scoff at him. "You almost made me believe you were a good guy," Taehyung says with disappointment in his eyes. Taehyung walks back to his table and Jungkook stares at him with sad eyes. Jimin dials Yoongi's number.
When it picks up, Jimin immediately asks him why he's not at school once again. "Because, I don't want to," Yoongi simply answers. "D-Don't give m-me t-that a-attitude, just a-answer me," Jimin says, getting annoyed. Absolutely hating his stuttering, it doesn't make him sound very tough or threatening, but Jimin really is neither of those things.
"Just shut up, okay? Meet me at our tryst after school," Yoongi says before hanging up. Jimin sighs and so does Yoongi when his mother starts questioning her son again. "Why are you still not at school," Mrs. Min asks and Yoongi just shrugs. "Is this because of the divorce?" "Why do you think everything I do has something to do with your stupid divorce?" Yoongi asks, not really wanting an answer.
"You sure are in a rebellious phase," his mother says and Yoongi rolls his eyes. "Don't you roll your eyes at me." Yoongi sighs trying to keep calm. "I'm gonna go for a walk." "Where?" "Outside." Yoongi answers. "Does bad friends come with that pack of phase?" Mrs. Min asks "It's just Jimin," Yoongi answers grabbing his leather jacket. "Good, you could learn some good manners from that boy." "Why don't you just adopt him if he's so perfect then?" Yoongi says before walking out.
The blonde quickly runs to a bush in his garden. He hides a pack of cigarettes and a lighter there because if he hid it inside the house, his parents or Jimin would find it. Yoongi walks to their tryst, lighting up a cigarette that lies between his lips.
He feels a bitter taste in his mouth, like strong coffee. He remembers the first time he smoked, how light-headed he got and how horrible it tasted. But the more you smoke, the more you begin to like the taste. Now Yoongi likes the taste, the unusual taste that tastes like nothing on earth. But he only does it whenever he thinks about his parents divorce or if he gets too bad into other deep thoughts since he knows how bad it is for someone to smoke, and Yoongi doesn't want to kill himself with a cigarette.
The blonde sits down and rests his back on the tree. Only after 2 minutes he sees a redheaded boy appear. Jimin automatic smile that Yoongi gives him, fades when he sees what he's doing. Jimin sighs at his best friend. "I h-hate y-you," Jimin says looking at Yoongi who just looks up at him with no emotions on in his eyes. Jimin places himself on Yoongi's lap (basically his crotch) completely facing him and Yoongi's gaze follows him.
"Do y-you t-think you're co-cool?" Jimin asks him and Yoongi doesn't answer. "W-With your l-leather ja-jacket. Black o-outfit. M-Messy h-hair," Jimin runs his hands through Yoongi's blonde hair. "And t-this," Jimin takes Yoongi's cigarette, but doesn't throw it out. Jimin brings the cigarette closer to his lips. "Jiminie. Stop," Yoongi says trying to grab the cigarette from him. And just as Jimin is about to put it in between his lips, Yoongi slaps his hand and the cigarette falls to the ground. Jimin grabs it again.
Not to do anything with it, he just didn't want the cigarette to lay on the ground when there's a trash can nearby. "T-Think you're cool w-with t-that e-eyeliner?" Jimin looks at the messy dark eyeliner on Yoongi's eyes. Yoongi tries to grab the cigarette again, making Jimin slap his cheek. Not hard at all, careful to not make it hurt. "Do you k-know how mu-much i've b-been getting bu-bullied a-at school w-when you're not t-there?" Jimin asks him.
"And w-what are you s-skipping c-class for? to s-smoke and c-cry o-over y-your parents d-divorce?" Yoongi just stares at the younger's eyes. "It's easier to cry when you're hurt" Yoongi speaks and Jimin clearly remembers that he spoke those words many years ago. "Then c-cry t-to m-me." Jimin pecks Yoongi's cheek, Yoongi who is really enjoying Jimin on top of him, but he doesn't need to know that.
"Just don't d-do t-this," Jimin whispers. A tear falls from Yoongi's eye, but his face remains emotionless. "Y-You can c-cry," Jimin whispers but Yoongi nods his head no. "I'm not supposed to cry or fill you up with my problems. You have your own problems and I'm supposed to be there for you," Yoongi looks at the grass avoiding Jimin's puppy look.
"Yah, h-hyung. You're n-not a-a r-robot, you h-have feelings even th-though you d-don't like to s-show them. You're t-there f-for me a-and I'm t-there for you, got i-it?" Jimin pokes Yoongi's chin to get him to look at him, and Yoongi does. "Okay," the blonde barely whispers. Jimin lays his head on the crook of Yoongi's neck, enjoying his scent mixed with the nature around them. "Are you still not gonna let me smoke?" "Are y-you g-gonna let m-me c-cut?" Jimin asks and the blonde furrows his eyebrows. "Of course not." "E-Exactly."
Jimin is practically sitting on Yoongi's special area, and Yoongi wants to tell Jimin to get off before he gets a boner, but he doesn't want Jimin to think he's a pervert. Well..more than he already does. Jimin leans his back on Yoongi's legs that were right behind him and Yoongi swallows down his moan. The younger intertwines their fingers as they both stares at each other.
"So beautiful you are," Yoongi mumbles. "My little puppy," Yoongi begins to cry. Jimin hugs the blonde who now cries on his shoulder. "I want them t-to get divorced so they would just stop fighting, but I also don't want that...I just wish they w-weren't getting divorced at all and that they j-just were happy," Yoongi talks as tears leaves his eyes, drying on Jimin's oversized denim jacket.
"I don't understand what ha-happened. Everything was fine and then one day they hate each other. Minie...Minie I don't understand, I don't-" Yoongi cuts himself off by a loud cry and Jimin eyes begins to water from hearing the person who means the most to him, besides his mother of course, cry.
Jimin runs his hands through Yoongi's hair, lightly massaging it which calms the crying older down. After a few moments, he sniffles on Jimin's shoulder with his eyes closed, enjoying his hands in his hair.
And they stay like that until it gets dark outside, both of their phones buzzing with worried mothers.
