Chapter 20: What Outsiders See

That afternoon, the whole crew boarded the train to return to the city. The crew tried to finish a few more scenes on the train because the train ran nonstop, so they arrived at their destination by noon the next day. That night, after finishing all the scenes, it was already 2am. Faye finished getting ready so she went back to her room first. By the time Yoko finished showering and returned to their double bedroom, Faye had already fallen asleep.

Yoko tiptoed over to Faye's bed, gently sitting on the edge of the bed so as not to disturb the sleeping person. Her eyes attentively looked at Faye's beautiful face with no dead corners.

She brushed her hair away from her, then, following the light from the hallway, Yoko locked onto her target and leaned down to kiss her cheek. Her kiss was so delicate that she kissed her cheek but lightly touched the corner of Faye's lips. Yoko tried to stop her heart from beating too fast, telling herself to calm down.

'Good night' , she moved her lips but couldn't make a sound.

Yeah, just a kiss goodnight.

But Yoko herself knew very well that just now, she really wanted to kiss Faye's lips. Luckily, no one discovered it, this goodnight kiss was a secret between her and the hallway light outside.

...

After a long trip to shoot outdoor scenes back in the city, the actors had a few days off before continuing filming. Faye spent the whole day at Amor Salon & Spa just to handle her own work that was piling up like a mountain. Then she met with Nhan to discuss the next schedule. Every now and then, she would check her phone and see new messages from Yoko, Faye responded to all of her messages.

Yoko is also on vacation, but she has to make up for her filming sessions. Even so, she still doesn't forget to text Faye whenever she has free time. Sometimes it's just pictures of her classes, sometimes pictures of food, or selfies of her and her friends. Whenever she feels happy and misses her, she texts Faye.

That night Faye had an appointment to go to Nam's house to party with her friends. It had only been more than ten days since they had seen each other, but her friends had had enough and had invited the whole group to schedule a meeting. Nam's wealthy family had given her a whole villa, but with her somewhat rebellious personality, Nam had chosen to live alone in a large penthouse on the 50th floor of a high-rise building. Nam's penthouse was much larger than Faye's, it was spacious and had its own balcony and garden, and was decorated in the style of young singles who loved to party, very suitable for gathering and organizing parties at home.

The party was held late, so when Faye arrived, it was just at the busiest time. Today, she was simply wearing a crop top with an open waist and jeans with wide pockets. Her hair was long and unconventionally tied with three hairlines on one side of her ear. Her black eye makeup was bold, completely different from her usual seductive style, but with a youthful personality and a bit of rock & roll. Holding a bottle of wine in her hand to join in the fun of the party, Faye was warmly welcomed by her friends as soon as she knocked on the door.

Nam walked over from afar, hugging her best friend. While hugging, she playfully looked behind Faye to see if there was anyone else.

"My bestie isn't bringing anyone today?" Nam smiled happily and put her arm around Faye's shoulder, pulling her into the party.

The party was very lively and crowded. It was truly an adult party, with plenty of beer and alcohol and even shisha and cigar towers, filling the air with the scent of smoke. Looking around, most of the faces were familiar, mutual friends of both of them, and there were also strangers that Faye didn't know. Faye smiled happily as she followed Nam, not forgetting to smile and greet her friends.

"No, she goes to bed early." Faye replied, pouring herself a glass of wine and sitting down on a high stool near the bar in the living room.

"Do you know who you're talking about?.." Nam sat right next to her, not letting go easily, smiling and saying "... okay, I won't tease my old friend anymore, let's drink, I know you must be very stressed these days."

Nam understood Faye very well, with her recent filming schedule, her friend must have been under a lot of pressure. Right on the dance floor in the corner of the living room, the DJ also started to adjust the music to make it more exciting for everyone to have fun. Luckily, this was a high-class area with excellent soundproofing, no matter how much trouble they caused, no one could do anything to Nam. Faye also gradually joined the party, singing and dancing with everyone and drinking a lot of alcohol.

Because Nam is also very famous in the community, this party also has many LGBT friends attending. As soon as Nam left Faye, a few people immediately came to ask to drink with Faye, but she politely refused. Faye only came here to have fun with her friends, she just wanted to stay away from strangers. It was not until another friend came and pulled Faye into the crowd to play with everyone that she joined.

The party lasted until past two in the morning before entering the final stage, the DJ also changed the music to light music and all the guests were also a bit tipsy and started to leave in pairs. The living room of this penthouse had a large garden balcony, the balcony window frame was a straight view of the Han River Bridge and a row of skyscrapers in the city. This view was almost the most beautiful and comprehensive view of the city at night. Faye did not leave but sat on a large rattan chair in the garden, continuing to drink while watching the sky and the city at night.

"How was your movie?" Nam sat down next to her friend and poured Faye more wine.

Both of them had drunk a lot, and were drunk, but still refused to stop.

Faye smiled, let Nam lean on her shoulder, took out her phone and unlocked it: "Here, watch it yourself. I recorded a lot of clips."

The phone was full of photos and videos of Faye's scenes. She trusted Nam so much that she didn't need to hide anything. Nam tried to open her red, drunk eyes wide, scrolling through the pictures on the phone.

"Why are there only pictures of you and little Yoko... Aaa..." Then she suddenly shouted, laughing happily "... there's even a kissing scene, haha."

Faye pushed Nam away from pressing down on her: "We've basically finished filming the first part of the movie, so of course there has to be a kissing scene.."

Then Faye briefly told Nam about the filming process in the past few days. Nam was also very talkative and liked to get to the point, so she asked Faye to tell her in detail about the kissing scene and Yoko not being able to kiss. She didn't even hide the fact that Faye came to her room that night to 'instruct' her. Because to her, it was basically just work.

But when she told that, Nam couldn't believe her ears, immediately turned around to ask for confirmation: "Did you really go to that girl's room, lie on the same bed with her and kiss someone else's daughter?"

"Really, it's just a work..."

"What work? Faye, you've never been so proactive with anyone. Even at work, don't you realize it yourself?" Nam interrupted Faye, the content her friend had just told her sobered her up a bit.

Faye stopped and thought for 30 seconds. God knows what she pondered and thought about in those 30 seconds.

"No, it's just work. Since I've never acted in a lesbian movie before, I've never had the chance to do so." Faye said firmly.

However, Nam was still quite suspicious, smiling but not smiling, looking at her friend for a moment then asking her to continue.

Faye continued telling Nam about the filming process, how Yoko talked to Danny to practice for the scene, how Faye carried Yoko on the beach, and how the two of them shared a room on the ship.

Nam heard everything, her eyes looked at Faye clearly: "Kiss me!"

"What the hell?" Faye yelled, laughing and then ducking away.

"You said it was normal, give me a kiss!" Nam approached Faye and joked.

Unable to bear her friend's anger, Faye turned around and kissed Nam on the cheek. At that moment, Nam quickly raised her phone to take a picture. Then she turned to the side, holding her and Faye's phones to compare.

"Hey, wake up and look. Don't you see that these two kisses are very different? This is a kiss between friends." Nam showed Faye the photo she just took and the photo of Faye and Yoko kissing. It was clear to see that one was truly a kiss between friends, and the other was definitely not a kiss between friends.

"Well... because Yoko and I are very professional." Faye still said firmly, "If you acted in a movie with me, it could be like that too."

"Please forgive me, you're joking. Other lesbian movies don't kiss as realistically as you two." Nam said sincerely.

"Then it proves that Galaxy cast the right person." Faye still calmly replied.

"When we were in the same room on the train, did you kiss her again?"

"Are you crazy? If it's not related to the role, why kiss?" Faye hit Nam's hand because of her excessive imagination.

Nam looked at her friend, smiled very slyly, then picked up the glass of wine and drank more. It was true that it was not clear at home, but it was clear outside, maybe to Faye it was still just work, but to Yoko... this gaze could not be an acting gaze, that girl was not mature enough to hide her feelings. Nam pondered in her heart, wondering for a moment whether she should tell her friend or not, but still decided not to say too much in the direction she was thinking, but to let nature take its course.

"Are you sure that Yoko was able to act this scene because she was professional, because she was guided by a consultant, not because she was guided by Miss Faye Peraya Malisorn herself?" Nam teased her friend with one last sentence.

"..." this time, Faye couldn't answer.
