Ashes feels a slight pain in his chest as he slowly wakes up, his eyes blinks many times before opening up to see where he is, it seems like he was in someone's tent in the forest, he sat up and look around only to feel a painful headache, Ashes tries to recall what happened before he fell unconcious and remembers that he was attacked by a corrupted monster last night and somebody saved him... It was...
Before he could recall the appearance of the cookie who saved him, someone walked into the tent holding a wooden bowl with berries, Ashes looks at them with shock as he finally remembers who it was that saved him, it was Wind Archer! But he looks much different then how he recalls him to look like... Instead of the iconic green sleeveless shirt he always wearing Wind Archer is now wearing a outfit that is pure white with some little pieces of armory as accessories, his hair in no longer green but white as well... It's longer and is tied back into a ponytail, and his wings looks different as well, Wind Archer doesn't seem reactive once he sees that Ashes is awakened and calmly walks over to him with the bowl of berries

Wind Archer: I see you're awake... Here some berries, there aren't much food in this forest that isn't poisonous but this should help you recover...
Ashes: ... Thanks...

Ashes was too stunned to speak, it has been so long sience he had last seen Wind Archer and the first thing he ever said to him was offer him berries, Ashes takes a single berry and stare at it blankly

Ashes: what... Happened again...?
Wind Archer: you were attacked by a corrupted monster last night, once I manage to purify the creature you fainted... It would have seems you tried to fight the monster but didn't have enough strength to do so
Ashes: right... Guess I'm not as good as I used to be in my glory days... It's still good to know that you've been doing better then me Windy...
Wind Archer: ... Please do not call me that so casually... Only one cookie has ever called me that... I like to keep it that way...
Ashes: hm...? Heh what are you talking about...? You seriously don't recognise me?
Wind Archer: I don't believe we have met... Tho that staff... It does seem oddly familiar...
Ashes: ofcourse it is! It's my dragon's bead! One of my sources of power! You know this!
Wind Archer: no... The only cookie I know who wields the dragon's bead was him... Unless your a thief who stole it and fled from the crime scene-
Ashes: Windy you can't be serious- it's me!! Fire Spirit hello?! I'm the elemental of fire and Guardian of the flow of life or whatever...
Wind Archer: quite a foolish lie ... Fire is in his name... And you have not even a single spark of flame... It seems your nothing more then ashes...
Ashes: that's because I used up all of my powers to protect the dragon's valley! Almost all of my powers are gone! You gotta believe me Windy... Please...

Wind Archer looked at the other cookie with disbelief as Ashes held his hand and looking into his eyes, Wind Archer could felt the warmth that once embrace him so tightly... Now it feels like it has long sience faded away, he lift his hand up and help Ashes cheeks as he examines his face, the way Ashes lean into his touch... Was exactly how Fire Spirit would always do whenever they go out together... Wind Archer looks at Ashes with a complex expression as he was trying to speak

Wind Archer: Firey...?
Ashes: so you do remember after all... Took you long enough Windy...
Wind Archer: but... What happened to you...? Your flames are extinguished... Your light has darkened... How could this had happened...
Ashes: there was a attack on the dragon's valley a few years ago and as much as I hate to say it... I had a hard time fighting the thing... It took me almost all of my powers and energy to defeat it... Now I'm almost all drained out of powers... And became the Lord of the Ashes... The others tried to help but there was nothing they could possibly...
Wind Archer: because only my winds... Was it my fault that this happened...? I guess I really should have stayed after all...
Ashes: no, no... Don't blame yourself, I was the fool who charged into the battle without trying to ask for some help in the first place, then again it's not like the other dragon's were sticking around to help me out... But it's all over and I'm glad I could finally see you again...
Wind Archer: this form really made you different... You hardly sound so calm before... And less obnoxious
Ashes: hehe yeah I guess I'm too drained out to even be the typical me huh? But hey look at you! This new look really suits you! You look way cooler like this too!
Wind Archer: it's nothing impressive... My appearance only changes a little but I am still the same
Ashes: I know but I'm just glad to finally get to see you again...
Wind Archer: here eat this, they'll help you recover for now, you look worse then dead grass
Ashes: heeeey...!

Ashes took the bow of berries and ate as Wind Archer simply sit next to him, it has been 10 years since the 2 pair has been apart, the silence was strangely loud between them... It was so unlikely that there would be a moment of peace and not constant fire jokes and loud laughter along with arrows being shoot in the sky, Ashes was used to getting the silent treatment from Wind Archer before but this time it felt more awkward then tense

Ashes: so... What have you been up to sience coming here?
Wind Archer: purifying the corrupted monsters that lingers in this land... Despite my efforts they seem to keep coming back... And I could never find the source of the problem...
Ashes: oh...
Wind Archer: how has everyone back in the forest been...?
Ashes: ehh same old same old, Millennial is still asleep the guardians do what they do and the other legendaries doesn't got much going on
Wind Archer: I see... That's good to hear...
Ashes: heeey...! I came all the way out here just to see you and all you asked about is just Millennial tree and the others? You really haven't changed about!
Wind Archer: I was worried you burn the forest down or getting frozen by Frost queen but it seems you met a different problem then that...
Ashes: oh you have no idea! The dragon's could have at least lend me a hand! But noooo...! They went off somewhere and I had to deal with the problem myself! What a drag! Don't get me wrong I used to be super amazing but now that I'm all drained out I can't even make one small spark of flames!

Wind Archer let's out a quiet giggle as he hears Ashes complain about his hardship over the years and Ashes notice, he smiles knowing only his dumb and crazy antics can make Wind Archer a little happy

Wind Archer: once your done eating, you should probably get some more rest, the wind is cold tonight... I'm afraid I can't use that to restore you of your powers....
Ashes: alright, I guess a little rest would be nice after all that traveling... And what about you? Where are you heading off to?
Wind Archer: I have to go out on patrol, those creatures are most active at knight...
Ashes: but I just got heeeeeeeeeere! C'mon! Can't you spare a little time?
Wind Archer: others could be in danger like you if I do take a break Fire...
Ashes: come oooooooooon! Just this once! For me please??

Ashes was trying to pull up his old trick of puppy dog eyes but it's not very affective when he's all Ashes not not a blazing flames, tho he wasn't amused Wind Archer gaved in and lay down to rest with Ashes as they both cuddle each other as Ashes could feel himself recover just by being next to Wind Archer, they both fell asleep and completely overslept...
After that Wind Archer just made Ashes sit in the corner for the entirety of the next day
