Jimin
The only time we all really spend together anymore is at the table for meals. We use to all hang out while one of us was away at counseling or testing, but not much after the first few months here.
Lately we've all been off. All been distant. Ever since Jungkook's 16th none of us seem to be able to stand each other.
Yoongi had his head down. Barely ate a bite. Jungkook had his head down too. Namjoon had his head down. The only two eating fine were Tae and Jin. I eyed them as they had a healthy conversation about their tutoring.
Then I wondered how much you could even say about it. If I were to talk about it all I could really say is how it's boring and I'd rather be attending my dance academy again. I'd say I have an A-, but that doesn't mean I care for it at all. That would be the end of it. Instead they're happily comparing work loads and classes. Even simple things like "my senior notebooks only a 1/2 inch binder, the work loads so light".
I guess I can't blame them for continuing on with life. I suppose I'm just bitter since mine was stripped from me. Since a best friend "got better". Since the person I'm more or less with hates me. Since the little bit of feelings I felt for the guy I use to like really don't matter. Even with what Hoseok said, I don't think I could go for it. Simply because I only want Jungkook.
"You ok Jimin?" Yoongi asked.
Speaking of the past crush.
"Huh? Yeah. I'm fine. Are you?" I questioned.
He faked something like a smile, and nodded lazily.
"I'm as fine as I'll get. I was asking for you since you've poured the entire carton of milk onto the table and yourself without batting an eye." He gestured at the mess.
I looked down at myself wide eyed. The others were shocked as well, even counselor nim. All were so immersed in themselves that nobody even knew what I was doing. I was so immersed in everyone else I never even realized. Yoongi was the only one who must have been immersed in me.
"O-oh" I got up quickly.
Yoongi did too. He got up and grabbed paper towels for both of us. Just as we both had gone to wipe up the table, another hand competitively hit the table with a wash rag just before Yoongis.
Jungkook eyed Yoongi as he began to slosh around the milk. Although Yoongi didn't seem to care too much for his judgement. He just moved on to the mess on the floor. All while I dabbed at my clothing.
"Jimin, go up and change. I'll take care of the mess" Jungkook said.
I did. I went upstairs and quickly changed into practically nothing. Then ran across the hall to the tub. Washing my legs down to remove the sticky residue.
Then there was a knock.
"Are you sure you were ok?" Yoongi questioned.
I nodded as I wiped my legs down with a towel. He came in and shut the door behind him.
"I miss him too, if that's what's got you down" he admitted.
"It's not only that. It's just kind of-" it's everything. "ah I don't know. Never mind." I sighed.
He took the towel from my hand and hung it back up.
"Did you ever even think of me?" He turned around to look at me.
"W-what?"
"Di-"
Jungkook busted through the bathroom door as if it had been jammed.
"Jimin? I made you eggs since your last breakfast was ruined." Jungkook said. "Let's go before it gets cold" he glared a Yoongi.
