Jealous
Summary: Agent is a handsome man, so it's not surprising when one of Victim's business partners gets very interested in him.

"Agent," Primal greeted with a grin as she perched on the desk, observing Agent engrossed in his book, his suit coat casually slung over the chair, legs crossed. "Hmm?" Agent responded with a tilt of his head, though his gaze remained fixed on his reading material.
"I've heard there's a new business partner the boss is entertaining, showing her around," Primal mentioned, piquing Agent's interest. His eyes shot up to meet Primal's with a keen, narrowed expression, his lips forming a thin line.
"He never informed me about that," Agent remarked in a low voice. Primal tapped her chin playfully and smiled, "You might want to catch up with them. Just thought I'd give you a heads up, considering... well, they're alone, and there's no one there to protect the boss," she hinted, winking mischievously as Agent let out an exasperated breath.
"Of course, Victim wouldn't tell me," Agent thought with a sigh. He was aware that the grey hollowhead often hated him breathing down his neck. Not in the literal sense, as if it were, the grey hollowhead would allow it. The mental image made Agent blush momentarily. Clearing his throat, he shut his book and placed it gently on the desk.
"I'll go check on him then," Agent declared, rising from his seat and heading towards his coat, only to furrow his brow in contemplation. Hearing Primal exhale audibly, she too stood up from the desk. "Well, I can't exactly keep an eye on him. The boss gives me that intimidating glare," Primal admitted, a shiver running down her spine as Agent rolled his eyes, eliciting laughter from her. "It's great to see you two together; you've become sassier," Primal remarked, chuckling, as Agent let out a sigh.
"Sure," Agent replied, picking up his coat before hesitating and letting it drop back onto his chair. He wasn't in the mood to wear it at that moment. The suit felt stifling at times, perhaps he needs to buy a new one, preferably a softer one at that.
"Agent," Victim greeted, his eyes brightening upon spotting the taller figure at the hallway's end, receiving a nod and a faint smile in return. "Oh? Is this one of your associates?" Carmine inquired, a subtle smile dancing on her lips as she regarded Agent.
Victim affirmed, unaware of the hungry gaze Carmine fixed on Agent. "Good morning," Agent greeted with a bow, hands discreetly tucked behind his back. "You seem to have left your suit coat," Victim observed, prompting Carmine to pause in front of the tall figure.
Agent blushed, shaking his head slightly before glancing at Carmine and then at Victim. "I simply left it at my desk," Agent responded tersely as Carmine beamed at him enthusiastically.
"Victim, you never mentioned you had such a handsome individual working for you," Carmine playfully teased, concealing her face behind a fan as Agent shifted, appearing slightly uneasy, though swiftly masking it with an inscrutable expression.
Victim merely grinned, turning to Carmine with a mischievous smile.

It's not that Agent hates Carmine, but he despises her.
Believe it or not, Agent doesn't "hate" easily. Though he does harbor animosity towards Chosen at times. If he's feeling particularly petty, he might take the opportunity to knock the black hollowhead down during their sparring sessions, especially when Victim is watching.
Of course, Chosen goes easy on Agent, especially in front of Victim. Initially, Agent resented this, but eventually, he turned it to his advantage and began to enjoy pummeling Chosen for fun, especially when he needed to release some extra stress.
It was fun... (who doesn't love beating Chosen up? Agent would never pass that opportunity up)
That's mostly how his hate manifests, taking out his frustrations on that particular target when he's in the mood. He can display sadistic tendencies at times, or whatever term fits. Agent remains indifferent to whatever labels others assign to him; his passion lies in combat, even though this enthusiasm isn't always evident on his face.
The other mercenaries dub him a 'war freak' or something of the sort.
Perhaps they are correct.
Because Agent was on the verge of tossing Carmine out of the window if she dared to touch his arm again.
Agent's eye twitched as he turned to look at Carmine, who had a sharp grin plastered on her face. She placed a hand on his arm, digging her nails into his skin painfully as she leaned closer.
"Victim is so lucky to have you, a strong and handsome man," Carmine purred, squeezing Agent's arm. For a moment, Agent stifled the urge to shiver; it felt like he was stepping into a pit of writhing worms that he would gladly avoid.
Unfortunately, Carmine was Victim's business partner. Agent didn't want to jeopardize things with his lover. Even though he felt increasingly uncomfortable with Carmine's proximity—laying her head on his shoulder, attempting to hold his hands (he deftly dodged most of her advances).
"Why did Victim have to leave me with her?" Agent thought annoyedly as he and Carmine walked down the hallway. He pointed to the different sectors of the facility, explaining their uses and the specific roles of the workers in each area.
However, Agent knew Carmine wasn't listening. It was evident from the way she disgustingly ogled at him, making it feel like something was crawling on his back. If her stare wasn't enough, her inappropriate touches confirmed it.
She even went so far as to rub her chest on his arm, which disgusted Agent to the point where he almost slapped her away. Yet, he had to remind himself that Carmine was Victim's business partner. She wouldn't visit often after this, only for meetings. Agent could easily evade the responsibility and leave the other mercs to watch over Victim if needed.

"I don't like her," Agent blurted out as he stood over the bed, looking down at Victim, who was reading a book with glasses perched on his face. Victim turned to look up at Agent with a puzzled expression. "Who?" Victim tilted his head as Agent jumped on the bed, laying his head on Victim's chest and pushing the book away from Victim's hands, acting like an overgrown cat.
"Your business partner. I don't like her," Agent mumbled, hiding his face on Victim's neck. He felt Victim chuckle, his chest shaking as Agent nuzzled closer, hooking his leg over Victim's and pulling him closer. "Why's that?" Victim asked, raising a brow as he ran his hand through Agent's hair.
Agent only let out a hum and some incoherent mumbles, not feeling up to explaining how Carmine made him uncomfortable. He had spent a long time in the shower trying to scrub the overwhelming smell of her expensive cologne from his skin.
"What's wrong?" Victim asked as Agent only sighed, feeling Victim shudder at his warm breath on his neck. "Nothing, we should sleep," Agent mumbled, letting out a small hum from the back of his throat.
"Are you sure? Did she do something?" Victim asked again as Agent only frowned, blinking in thought. Should he tell Victim? He could handle a few uncomfortable touches and glances; by tomorrow, she would be leaving anyway. So, it wouldn't matter.
"No," Agent shook his head before sitting up and staring down at Victim with a small smile on his lips. "What?" Victim laughed as Agent gently thumbed his lips, staring intently. "Nothing, I just think you look beautiful," Agent said with a small smile, watching as Victim blushed in response.
"Looks like you want something from me if you're speaking like that," Victim purred, placing his hands on Agent's shoulders and pulling him closer.
"What if I do?" Agent stated as Victim stared at him, his eyes hooded.

It wasn't every day that Victim saw Agent looking out of sorts, or well, he did see it daily, mostly within the confines of their own room and their own bed. But when he saw Agent standing on the far corner of the wall with Carmine in front of him, grabbing the front of his shirt and trying to pull him down, Victim felt his eyes widen. He jogged over to them, grabbing Carmine by the shoulders, a little too harshly, causing the woman to let out a yelp and stumble back.
Victim turned to look at Agent, who appeared terrified, a smudge of lipstick on his lips. Victim watched as Agent brought his arm up to rub it away, his face pale and appalled at what Carmine had just done. "Hey! I was just trying to give him a goodbye kiss!" Carmine pouted as she brought out a small handkerchief to clean the smudged lipstick on her lips. Victim turned to her, looking absolutely livid.
"You what?!" Victim growled. His hands on her neck before anyone could even process what was happening.
"And he choked her, I had to stop him from killing his own business partner," Agent explained, his tone calm despite the intensity of his words. The other mercenaries gave him a scared look.
"Boss almost killed Miss Carmine. I don't think it's a time for you to blush," Ballista pointed out, observing Agent as he rubbed his cheek with a small smile.
"I just feel happy he would kill for me," Agent said, his smile unwavering. The group exchanged uneasy glances, clearly taken aback by Agent's words.
"What the living hell, Agent?" Primal exclaimed, her jaw dropping in shock. Agent cleared his throat, composing himself.
"It was... nice. I was almost tempted not to stop him, but then I remembered, he cannot hurt his hands. I don't want him to do it, though if he orders me to do it myself, I would... for him," Agent admitted, his voice tinged with a sense of detachment. Hazard slapped a hand to his face, horrified by the revelation.
"Oh my cursors above, don't tell me it aroused you watching Victim try to kill someone for you?" Ballista asked, a look of disbelief on his face, desperately hoping for a different answer.
Agent turned to them, his expression deadly serious. "What if I said yes?" he questioned, tilting his head as he observed all of them rise from their seats and swiftly exit the meeting room.
"We're leaving. Goodbye, Agent," Primal waved a hand dismissively as Agent scratched his head in bewilderment, watching them rush out of the room.

"Agent, I hope you weren't too shocked at what happened," Victim frowned, taking a seat beside Agent who was laying on the bed, engrossed in something on his phone. Agent turned to him, closing his phone with a small smile. "It was fine, you were there anyway," he reassured Victim, a faint blush coloring his cheeks.
Victim sighed, shaking his head, his expression filled with self-directed frustration. "No, this was what you were trying to tell me yesterday, wasn't it? When you mentioned that you didn't like her? Why didn't you tell me?" Victim inquired, moving closer to Agent, who sat up in response, releasing a small sigh and shaking his head.
"I didn't want to insert our relationship into your work. I understand how important work is to you, and I didn't want you to lose a business partner just because I was feeling uncomfortable," Agent confessed, looking down at his lap with a tinge of shame.
Victim's frown deepened, his brow creased as he gently cupped Agent's cheek, urging him to meet his gaze. "You are far more important to me than my work, Agent. And you weren't just uncomfortable, she was touching you! I saw it on the cameras," Victim growled as Agent averted his eyes, nervously rubbing his neck.
"I wasn't cheating on you—" Agent began, his voice trembling, before Victim grasped his shoulder and pulled him closer. "As if you could do that, you silly man. I saw how she was practically clinging to you, even when you clearly showed your discomfort and moved away," Victim reassured him, embracing the taller man tightly. "Oh," Agent exhaled in relief, nuzzling his face against Victim's neck.
"I should have noticed the signs when she first laid eyes on you," Victim lamented, leaning back slightly as Agent let out a soft chuckle. "It's all right. If it eases your mind, I wanted to throw her out of the building from the 5th floor, but I remembered I can't have you dealing with a body," Agent smirked, prompting Victim to laugh heartily. He pushed Agent onto his back, resting his head on Agent's chest as they both found solace in each other's presence.
"Silly man, I wouldn't mind if you did, though," Victim remarked with a smile on his lips. Agent exhaled softly, drawing Victim closer and gently rubbing his cheek against Victim's hair, savoring its softness against his skin.
"Next time, inform me if someone or something is making you uncomfortable," Victim hummed, turning to gaze up at Agent, who simply nodded in response. "Do you hear me? Promise me you'll do that," Victim pouted, prompting Agent to roll his eyes. "I will," Agent deadpanned before Victim's lips met his in a tender kiss.
"Good," Victim said, a sly smirk playing on his lips.
Agent furrowed his brow. "What?" he asked, his tone puzzled. "I heard something earlier, from the meeting room," Victim said, grinning as Agent blushed deeply. "I-I, uh," Agent stammered, his hands moving away from Victim's waist as he rubbed his face in embarrassment.
"So, seeing me like that, you like it?" Victim purred, edging closer to Agent's face, causing him to emit an embarrassed noise from the back of his throat. "N-No," Agent denied, his words faltering. Victim simply hummed, taking Agent's hands and gently moving them away from his face.
"Do you enjoy it when I'm rough?" Victim asked, fixing his gaze on Agent, who appeared as if he just had a system crash out. "You can just tell me if you prefer it rough," Victim teased, running his hand seductively up Agent's chest.
Agent drew closer, pressing his cheek against Victim's, whispering softly, "What if I do? What will you do?" Victim grinned mischievously, "I'll give you the day off tomorrow," he replied with a smirk.
