"Yup yup. Ok second thing- we folded all the blankets and then proceeded to have a pillow war and mess them up so there was really no need, also we're sleeping in here again so really :/// there was no need to fold them in the beginning."

Yeah, we're dumb.

The day passed relatively uneventfully. Most people were out of the house, Jean was working, Sasha was taking a yoga class in town for literally no reason, Hanji and Erwin were out at some meeting.

I've been so caught up with my own life I stopped paying attention to everyone else.

"Yeah- I thought it would be a while longer but I think that the two of us have done just about everything we could in this house." I gave him a small smile.

"I'm fine with leaving but I think you should give it some thought- I mean you haven't even asked the cat."

"WAIT YOU'RE RIGHT!"

"Let's just go to bed it's really fucking late- you can ask the cat tomorrow.

A week passed.

We asked Mr. Squid and he always chose the wet wipe that said 'yes u shld leave' so it was pretty much set.

Telling everyone that we were leaving was just as hard as you would expect.

We did it at dinner and then promptly ran away from the chaos that ensued.

We then spent two days packing up all of our stuff- during which Levi deep cleaned the entire house.

A WHOLE SWEETIE

And then it was the final day there.

"Y/N you'd better call and text every single day," Hanji sobbed pulling me into a big bear hug.

"OF COURSE I WILL WHAT KIND OF FRIEND WOULD I BE OTHERWISE???"

"Levi you'd better invite all of us to the wedding," Erwin joked.

Remember when we first met Erwin and Hanji.

Hanji and I instantly clicked.

We never did figure out what the babie's gender was.

Everyone shuffled by in a long line of sadness saying their goodbyes while Levi stood off to the side groaning.

A chorus of goodbyes followed us as we pulled out of the driveway.

"Y/N??" Hanji crashed my train of thought, "we're almost there has Levi told you when he's arriving?"

The season of Corps House we were on had ended a little over five years ago.

Once we left a girl named Annie and some kid named Armin joined.

Armin left and someone else took his place.

A few more couples were formed and then the show ended.

Hanji, Erwin, Jean, and Sasha stayed on the show until the very end.

I swear some people started dating after the show ended but they aren't saying anything.

And now it was the annual reunion!

After Corps House everyone's careers took off- Levi and I modeled together a lot at random places for a little bit before people became obsessed with the amazing peppa pig inspired clothing Hanji had designed.

SO yeah I model peppa pig clothing almost exclusively what about it :/

Mikasa was constantly improving her game.

Eren went off the grid for a bit but I think he's in culinary school again.

Jean is still making music.

Sasha has been pursuing wedding planning, a little random but it's ok she looks really professional.

And Levi well-

We're still together surprisingly.

We had already lived together for a long time so as soon as I started getting more jobs in the city we both decided that I should move in

Things were really really great.

We still bickered over dumb things but that was just normal.

Five years happens fast.

"WE'RE HERE COME ON Y/N LET'S PARTYYYY!" Hanji screamed dragging me out of the car and to the restaurant we made reservations at.

yeah uhh this is the last chapter and as always i have THINGS TO SAY!

first of all I love all of you for supporting me especially bc somewhere along the line I lost a lot of steam for this. Which ultimately influenced my writing in a negative way.

This ending is in no way my best- to be honest I don't feel THAT great about it but- it was important to me to write an ending before I completely lost theme.

OVERALL IVE LEARNED A LESSON!! I KINDA DISLIKE WRITING LEVI IN LIKE ??? NOT TEXTING FICS AND ONESHOTS ??? SO U WILL BE SEEING HIM IN THOSE PLACES FROM NOW ON

It's kinda #funny that at the end of the day the song that the title if from n everything leading up to the song being created sums up my feeling abt this story.

if u don't know this was based off of my favorite show WHICH YOU SHOULD 100% GO WATCH BC ITS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS! Called Terrace House. Long story short there was this guy names Shohei n he was very much in love with this gorgeous lady with Seina. He asked her to be his girlfriend n she said no and it was honestly rlly depressing. He left the house soon after that but not before composing this song called Rambling Rose. The song is abt those happy days when they were still together. He sings it to her before he leaves and it's so beautiful he's crying im crying we're all crying. I guess thats how I feel about this. I WAS SO IN LOVE WITH WRITING IT IN THE BEGINNING! But I lost steam. That doesn't mean that I still can't enjoy this story though. I really love looking back on those times when i had a ton of motivation (:
