Chapter 55: End
Chapter 55: End
Taehyung and Jimin were laying down, cuddling each other on the couch as Tangled played on the big tv screen. Jungkook and Yoongi we're sitting by the breakfast table, discussing things about work. Jimin looked down to see Taehyung's head lying comfortably on his chest, and the baby bottle with warm milk in his mouth.
Taehyung looked up as felt the other's eyes linger on him. "You wanna try?" Jimin shook his head immediately. He did, he really did, but he just felt so weird. He was eighteen, not long until nineteen, why would he be drinking out of a baby bottle? Taehyung merely shrugged, and put his focus back to the screen.
But he grew annoyed, because he could still feel Jimin's gaze on him. Taehyung rolled his eyes and took the plastic out of his mouth and held it in front of Jimin's lips. "It's okay Jiminie." Jimin hesitantly took the bottle out of Taehyung's hand and stared at the nipple of the bottle. "Go on." Taehyung cooed at the sight of Jimin's chubby cheeks and plumpy lips, getting bigger. He took a few sips before giving it back to his friend.
"It's nice right?" Jimin stared at the other for a while before nodding. Taehyung grinned and laid his head back on Jimin's chest. "Just go out and buy one." Jimin sighed. "It's weird..." The brunette pouted.
"There's literally no difference. Drinking warm milk from a baby bottle is just a lot more practical. It's not my fault you can't lie down and drink at the same time. So buy one, I'm sure Yoongi wouldn't mind." Jimin sighed, running his fingers through Taehyung's hair. "I guess," he mumbled.
"Yoongi?" Jimin called. "Not now baby." Jimin pouted and looked back to the screen. "You can talk to him later you know," Taehyung whispered. Jimin just hummed before letting out a sigh. "What's wrong?" Jimin shrugged.
"He just...he works so much." Taehyung nodded in agreement. "But I overheard Jungkook talking on the phone, and I think Namjoon's gonna start working at the shop, so that's good." Jimin was glad for the new information.
He didn't like the older working so much. Not just because it meant spending less time with him, but also because it just wasn't healthy to work almost 84 hours a week.
The two kept their eyes on the screen, sharing the bottle from time to time. Yoongi and Jungkook didn't join the two until after about ten minutes later, where Jimin quickly gave the bottle to Taehyung, not wanting Yoongi to see him like that. But the boy had never been that smooth.
"It's okay Jimin-ah," Yoongi chuckled, lying down behind Jimin, playing with his hair. Taehyung ignored the two as he kept his focus on the movie and a tighter grip around Jimin's waist so that Yoongi didn't think he could just come in and take away Jimin from him. Jimin was Taehyung's cuddle buddy, and he was sorry to say it, but he was a better cuddler than Jungkook and Hoseok. Not that they weren't great too.
"Taehyung can I borrow Jimin for a second?" Taehyung frowned. "Come on baby," Jungkook appeared, patting his head. Taehyung whined as he let Jimin get out of his tight hold. Yoongi took Jimin to the kitchen. He put a hand on Jimin's cheek, caressing it.
"Minie, if you want to drink out of a baby bottle, there's nothing to be embarrassed of. Some people finds it comforting, like Taehyungie does, and that's okay." Jimin took notice of the man's extra soft voice, and he probably only spoke like that to make Jimin feel more comfortable. Like how you speak to a crying child.
Jimin stared at Yoongi's tattoos before he looked into his eyes again. He had a habit of zoning out on Yoongi's body art. There was just so much going on on his skin, it had to take the younger's focus away sometimes.
"You don't think I'm weird?" Yoongi chuckled.
"Of course you're weird."
Jimin frowned. "But not because of that." The smaller took Yoongi in for a hug. Yoongi kissed his head. "We should be completely comfortable with each other by now baby, if something's on your mind then you tell me." Jimin nodded on Yoongi's chest, smelling his nice scent that remained the same as when they first met. A mix of rain in the forest and cigarettes. Which reminded Jimin of something.
"I have more thoughts to share with you, if you wanna know." "Of course." Jimin looked up, but they still kept their arms around each other. "I don't want to smoke anymore. Which I don't think will be hard, because I still don't like the taste." Yoongi gave a small smile. "I'm glad. I don't want you smoking either, but I can see how it can be hard with me around." Jimin nodded. "Also..." "Yeah?"
"I would like to go visit my parents."

"Since I'm done with college, I'll be moving to an apartment downtown. You wanna live with me or?" Jimin looked to Yoongi who was in the driver's seat, stopping the car for a red light. "No thanks hyung...I think I'll just stay with Yoongi." Jihyun nodded, even though the younger couldn't see him.
"But we can see each other a lot more now that I live close to you." Jimin was excited by that thought alone. Jihyun was the only family he really had. "Yes hyung, of course! I have to go, but I'll text you and we'll figure out a date to see each other soon." "Okay, Jiminie. Bye bye, take care of yourself."
Jimin hummed a 'yes' before hanging up. "Want me to come with?" Jimin nodded. The two went out of the car, and Jimin knocked on the door to the house where his dad and his wife were supposed to live. A kid opened up the door. He seemed scared by Yoongi's features. Jimin looked to Yoongi.
"At least smile, or you're gonna scare him off." Yoongi forced a smile, trying not to look creepy. "Hello. Is mr. Park home?" The little kid nodded his head.
"Can I see him?" "Dad!" He turned around and called. Jimin wasn't sure how to feel by having this small child call his own father, his dad. But Jimin hadn't spoken to him in so long, he was probably more the child's father than his own. "Yea- Jimin?" "Go inside, alright?" The kid nodded before hurrying away.
"What are you doing here?" "I just..." Jimin fiddled with his fingers. "Wanted to make sure you were well...it's been a while." He merely nodded. It wasn't like he had tried to find out if his own son was doing well. "Well, I'm fine. How are you?" His voice was monotonous. He didn't know how to speak to his son.
"I'm um- I'm good." He nodded. "Listen um...if you would like to have my new number...we could maybe keep in touch?" Mr. Park nodded, much to Jimin's surprise. But oh was he happy that his dad at least wanted his number.
"Here," he handed his phone to Jimin and Jimin quickly typed in his number. "Thanks, um...d-dad. Talk to you later then..." Mr. Park nodded and gave Yoongi a small smile before closing the door. "Well that was awkwar- are you crying?" Yoongi noticed Jimin wiping away some tears when they got inside the car again. "Just happy that he wants to keep in contact." Yoongi smiled before ruffling his hair.
"Your old house now?" Jimin nodded, and Yoongi drove to the place that held way too many memories for the younger. Jimin got out, with Yoongi by his side once again as he knocked on the door. Her face fell, staring at Jimin for a few seconds before crying.
Jimin was taken aback when she practically tackled him in a hug.
She let go, staring at Jimin with a blurry vision, cupping his face. "Oh my baby...wha-why are you here? hm?" Jimin opened his mouth, trying to form out words, but nothing came out. So he just cried instead. She softened up, and couldn't help but caress Jimin's still chubby cheeks. "Just um..." Jimin let go of her and wiped his tears.
"Wanted to see you."
She gave a small smile and nodded. "I just made some tea, do You two want to come in and have some?" Jimin smiled at the invitation. He was wondering what made her so kind towards him, but he assumed it was because she hadn't seen him in so long. Maybe all her anger and sadness went down a notch. Or maybe she realized she was wrong. Or maybe she didn't know how much she needed Jimin until he was gone.
She still couldn't accept the fact that her son was gay, but she had to put his sexuailty aside for now. Jimin's grip on Yoongi's hand tightened as they went inside. They sat down by the dinner table in the dining room that was connected to the kitchen, as his mother got the tea and three mugs.
Jimin wanted to cry just from being in this house again, because he missed it so much. But he wouldn't trade it for Yoongi's place where he was actually loved for who he was. She sat down in front of the two.
"So...how are you?" Her voice was shaky. "I'm alright..." she nodded. "Are you attending any universities after the vacation?" Education and school, of course she would ask about that. Jimin nodded, telling her about how he got into Korea National University of Arts.
"...For dancing?" Jimin was well-aware that she was against it, but she didn't really have a say in his life anymore. "Yeah, to study dance." "And um...wh-who's paying for that? They don't usually give out scholarships to such schools." Jimin shook his head before looking at Yoongi. She gave Yoongi a tiny forced smile.
"Right, of course...surprised You two still are together." Jimin wasn't sure if he should laugh or feel offended. "We actually broke up for a year, but now we're back together..." Yoongi honestly didn't like this. He didn't like Jimin telling her about the two of them, it was none of her business.
"I see."
Yoongi sipped on his tea. Oh the awkwardness.
"So is there anything new with you?" She looked down before nodding. "I have a boyfriend now." "O-oh you do?" She hummed. "His name is Kimoon, he's nice." Jimin nodded, glad that she found someone else.
"I just visited dad." "Oh you did? How is he?" Jimin shrugged. "I think he's good. With his new son and wife." She put a hand over Jimin's, but noticed that Yoongi was already comforting him by the arm he had wrapped around his waist, rubbing up and down in a soothing matter. They continued with small-talk and it wasn't long before the two were back in Yoongi's car.
"That was nice," Jimin softly spoke as he buckled up his seatbelt. "Yeah? You feel better?" Jimin nodded. "Like a bit of weight has been lifted up off of my shoulders. I just wanted to talk to them without having anyone yelling at me." Yoongi softly smiled before rubbing Jimin's chin gently with his fingers.
"Do you want to get dinner now?" Jimin nodded. "Can we just go to Mcdonalds? I feel like eating greasy American food." Yoongi chuckled before agreeing. "Let's go to the drive-through and get it to go so we can lay on the couch and cuddle and watch anime." Jimin listened to Yoongi and continued to stare at him for a few seconds before he spoke.
"I love you."
Yoongi let out a breathy laugh before starting the car, saying the same thing back to Jimin. "Wait." Jimin crawled onto Yoongi's lap and wrapped his arms around his neck. "Yes?" Jimin only let out a smile before he leaned in to kiss the older. Yoongi put his hands on Jimin's hips.
"Ah-okay baby, not right now-" Yoongi spoke when Jimin sucked on his tongue and grinded on the other. "Why not?" he whined. "Come on mcdonalds can wait twenty minutes..." Yoongi chuckled at the younger. "Jimin, I'm not having sex with you in a car."
"Sure, he doesn't wanna do it in a car, but the toilets to some party on Wiheom street is totally fine," Jimin spoke.
"Fine."
"What?"
"Get in the backseat."
