Chapter 9

Kiyo's miserable period begins here.

He had to go through arduous training sessions, from doing push-ups without breathing, and knowing how to use all kinds of weapons to stepping on shards with bare feet or having someone smash bricks on his back.

In the early days, every time he returned from a mission, he would vomit and have headaches. The next few times he didn't, but the terrified faces of the corpses scared him, so Kiyo didn't dare to turn his back to look at them after killing.

Kiyo was thinking about renting an apartment, since he couldn't sleep on the street all summer anymore, and the school year was about to start. Kiyo went to sit near the fire, and took the money in his pocket that he received to calculate them.

Ten thousand CVD. Temporary enough to live through the day.

But things are not that simple. He had to pay for the house, and the bus ticket, and he had to apply for admission to a school. Besides, he didn't have any new books yet.

He hates this assassin's job, but he also has no other choice, how can he live without money?

He guessed he has to find more work to increase his income, sell goods at a convenience store, just afraid people will think: Even kids can do financial?

But Kiyo had to make sure by September that he would complete all the admission procedures and have enough books and new clothes for the school year, so he had to do it.

He cursed the orphanage that the neighbor brought him into, which sold him to the delinquents out there, letting him silently suffer like this.

One day, he had to go back to that damn place again, just to get the biography. But that's the only way to get into the school.

He chose a school to study in. It was located at the bottom of Kikyo Hill, it took him five minutes by bus and ten minutes on foot.

He applied sometimes just to get more knowledge, because out of society without education, he can't do anything. And Kiyo hasn't considered making friends yet.

The principal, looking at his transcript and the file from the orphanage, respected Kiyo's good performance, so he let him into the chosen class.

From the list of his class - class 7A, he was one of the sixteen students in this class, full of strange names, and didn't know anyone.

"You've been accepted into the class. Now you'll have to wait until September. The class has three more seats left."

"Thank you, teacher.."

With that, he quietly left the room. And walking back to the apartment, there was one more task in the evening.

At least he got accepted into the school.

But these days he has not been able to rest at all.
