18. Matt- You're Pretty Goo-d
I smiled as Matt made another cheesy pun.
"Jeez Louiez, you never know when to stop, Matthew," I joked, gently pushing his shoulder. He laughed and sat by me in silence.
"So, what do you want to do now? I'm actually pretty bored," Matt chuckled, looking at my pulled back hair. I turned to face him.
"Sardines with the other paladins?" I suggested, shrugging. He smiled and gave me a thumbs up. We found Lance in his room, Hunk in the kitchen, Pidge in the lab, and Shiro and Keith in the training room. Allura and Coran were already in the main control center.
"So, I have to explain this to Coran and Allura," I said. "So, sardines is a game where a person hides in somewhere. All the others try to find him/her, and when they find them, they hide with them until the last person remaining finds the whole group. The last person then hides, then the game starts over." I looked at everyone.
"Good?" They nodded.
"Let's start. So, who wants to hide?" Hunk shot up his hand. I giggled.
"Alright, Hunk, you can start hiding."

"Shoot..." I muttered, biting on my nail in nervousness. I couldn't find ANYONE. Well, time for desperate measures.
"HOLY FUCKING SHIT I CAN'T FIND ANY-FUCKING-BODY WOW I WISH SOME DIPSHI-" I yelled.
"LANGUAGE!" a male voice bellowed from Matt's room. I snickered. I found you, Shiro. My eyes glinted in enjoyment as I saw all the people glaring at Shiro.
"I found you guys!~" I cooed, "Thanks Shiro!~" He rolled his eyes, but smiled at me anyways. The paladins re-grouped in the big hall while I hid. I searched around, hearing the echoes of their counts: "1... 2... 3..." An imaginary light bulb formed over my head as I found the perfect place to hide.

(Matt's POV)
I searched around for the (Hair Color)ed female. I didn't find her anywhere, to my dismay. I looked at the control panel. Something was off. I looked at the buttons. I realized it was in a synchronized pattern, I smirked.
"(Y/N) is pretty smart about this... I'd never thought she'd used Nikiforov's hiding code..." I muttered, looking at the screen. I pressed two more black buttons and an image displayed on the screen. It was a picture of (Y/N) in the kitchen vent. Oh you sneaky little paladin. I left the image on the screen and went to find her. I looked at the only vent in the kitchen and started to climb onto the shelves.
"Matt!" (Y/N) whispered, excited, "Finally! I thought no one was going to find me!" I chuckled.
"You're talking to a devilishly handsome genius, sweetheart," I responded, flipping my hair. She giggled lightly and pulled me into the vent. I blushed as my hands collided with the soft, squishy mounds on her chest.
"A-Ahh!" she yelped, pushing me away, "M-Matthew H-Holt!" My face erupted into red.
"I-I AM S-SO SORRY, (Y/N)!" I yelled.
"What's going on in here?" Keith asked, lifting up the vent gate. I peered out from the vent. The paladins were all standing there, arms crossed. (Y/N) climbed out, landing onto the floor.
"I left an encrypted code in the main head board, but no one found it... Except for Matt, of course," the pretty (Hair Color)-ette said. I smirked. Wait... Did I just say pretty?
(Reader's POV)
I smiled as I looked up at the stars, wondering what planets were there, and what we could explore next. Matt was next to me.
"Hey, time for dinner, (Y/N)," he said gently, hearing Hunk's calls from the kitchen.
"Thanks, but I think I'll stay here for a little while longer," I replied, gently smiling at him. He hesitated for a second.
"You know, I'd hate to leave you out here all alone, so I guess I'll stay too." I giggled and punched his arm lightly.
"Is that just an excuse to stay with me longer?" I asked, teasing him. He blushed.
"N-No!" Matt exclaimed, flustered. I looked into his brown, milk chocolate eyes. He leaned in closer. Wrapping my arms around his neck, our lips met, into a sweet kiss.
"Mmnn..." I hummed, feeling his hand slide around my waist. He moved his lips against mine, favoring the flavor of my lip-balm. I felt his tongue slowly slide into my mouth. I didn't push it out, I let it in, gently pushing mine against his.
I slowly parted from the passionate kiss, looking at Matt. He chuckled and smiled at me.
"You're a pretty goo-d kisser, (Y/N)." I giggled and pecked his lips.
"You dork."
