Chapter 3
────═━┈━═────
The cactus cat purred softly in Y/n's arms, its spiky exterior surprisingly gentle against her as it nestled closer. The other girls couldn't help but coo in admiration, their awe evident as they gathered around her. Noticing their interest, Y/n smiled and crouched down, letting them gently stroke the unusual creature.
Ever since the fight ended, the cactus cat had refused to leave Y/n's side, clinging to her like a loyal pet. Its attachment to her was undeniable, as it pawed at her hand anytime she tried to pass it to someone else, earning soft laughter from the group.
"Looks like you've got yourself a new friend," Ying teased with a grin, while Y/n playfully sighed, stroking the cat's spiky head. "Seems like I don't have much of a choice," she replied with a chuckle.
Gopal touched each gummy cactus, transforming them back into their original forms. With a satisfied smile, he turned to the villagers and announced, "Okay, I've transformed all the cacti back to normal—" Before he could finish, Waib appeared out of nowhere and enveloped him in a hug.
"Thank you, little sapling! We are forever in your debt!" Waib exclaimed, his gratitude overwhelming. Unfortunately, his spiky arms didn't spare Gopal from another round of pain. "Ouch! Not again!" Gopal groaned, wincing as he tried to wiggle free.
Suddenly, Waib's expression shifted from joyful to stern, his eyes narrowing at Gopal. "But don't ever do that again!" he scolded.
Meanwhile, BoBoiBoy's attention shifted to the cactus cat, now surrounded by Y/n and the other girls . He turned to Ochobot, frowning. "Ochobot, why did Adudu mention something about a Power Sphera?"
Ochobot floated closer, his scanners whirring. "Take a good look! What's that on its neck?"
"A bell?" BoBoiBoy tilted his head, confused.
Ochobot shook his head, correcting him. "It's not just an ordinary bell. That's a Power Sphera!"
Y/n overheard their conversation and moved closer to examine the bell. "A Power Sphera?" she asked, intrigued.
Before anyone could respond, the bell on the cactus cat's neck began to shift and rotate. The girls gasped in surprise as a small face appeared on its surface.
"I'm Bellbot! Power Sphera of Enlargement Power!" it declared, its robotic voice echoing confidently.
The team froze in shock as the Power Sphera spoke, even Y/n, who now pieced together why she had noticed the strange face on the bell earlier. BoBoiBoy stepped closer, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. "Why didn't you tell us earlier?" he asked, his voice half-frustrated, half-curious.
The cactus cat tilted its head, allowing Bellbot to answer. "I'm sorry," Bellbot said in a polite tone. "I thought you were one of the bad guys."
Yaya, still intrigued, leaned forward. "How did you end up giving power to this cat?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
Bellbot floated slightly, explaining, "When I first arrived on this planet, the cat—Cattus—was the first creature I encountered. It cared for me and kept me safe, but I've always been hunted by those seeking Power Spheras. To protect us both, I gave the Enlargement Power to Cattus." Bellbot's voice took on a proud tone. "And let me tell you, Cattus has done an incredible job! Isn't he amazing?"
As if understanding the praise, Cattus immediately struck a dramatic, confident pose, puffing out its chest.
The girls couldn't help but be charmed. They rushed closer, exclaiming in unison, "Its name is Cattus? That's so cute!"
Y/n reached out and gently placed a hand on the cat, which responded by purring contentedly and rubbing against her hand. The sound made the girls awe collectively again, their admiration for Cattus growing.
BoBoiBoy stood back, a small smile on his face as he watched the scene unfold. But the peaceful moment was interrupted when Gopal nudged him with an elbow. "So, does that mean our mission is complete now?" Gopal asked, his tone seems delightful.
"Yeah, you're right," BoBoiBoy said, looking down at Cattus with a determined smile. He extended his hand toward Bellbot. "Let's go, Bellbot. Come with us to TAPOPS!"
The girls stood with the boys, their expressions hopeful as they anticipated Bellbot's agreement. However, the Power Sphera hesitated, its small mechanical face turning apologetic. "I can't follow you guys," Bellbot said firmly. "I need to be with Cattus. I need this cat, and this cat needs me."
Ying sighed "I'm sure the commander will not be happy to hear this. Because we didn't bring Bellbot back." Y/n hummed in thought "I think the Commander will be okay with this if we still can track down Bellbot." Boboiboy noded his head "Yeah, I'm sure that he'll understand."
Ochobot floated up, his cheerful voice cutting through the lingering tension. "What matters is that our mission is complete! Let's head home!"
"Let's go!" The team hurried.
Ochobot summoned a glowing teleport portal, its light shimmering in the fading desert sun. The team turned to wave goodbye to the villagers. "Goodbye, Cattus! Goodbye, everyone!" they called out in unison. The villagers waved back energetically, with Waib shouting above the commotion, "Don't forget to visit again! I've got so many more stories to tell you!"
Y/n's smile wavered as she forced a polite wave, inwardly grimacing at the thought of another long tale. Judging by the team's awkward nods, they shared her sentiments. "Uh, sure! We'll... look forward to it!"The team replied hesitantly before they hurried through the portal.
Back aboard their spaceship, the team breathed a collective sigh of relief. Each member carefully settled in, except for Gopal, who managed to trip over . "Ow!" he exclaimed, scrambling to his feet with a sheepish grin. "Yeah! We're back! Finally I don't have to look at the furiuos cat anymore!"
"Oi! Who are you calling a furious cat?!" a familiar voice growled, making the team whip their heads to the side. To their astonishment, there stood Cattus, eyes on Gopal, with Bellbot perched on his neck.
"You guys followed us back?!" BoBoiBoy exclaimed, his eyebrows raised in disbelief. Bellbot let out a playful giggle, his robotic face lighting up. "Hehe, It seems like Cattus really likes you guys!"
Before anyone could respond, Commander Kokoci entered the scene, beaming with pride. "Congratulations young cadets! Finally you guys managed to get the Power Sphera!" His congratulations were cut short as he accidentally stepped on Cattus's tail.
A loud yowl filled the room as Cattus's fur bristled, his form rapidly expanding. "Uh-oh..." Bellbot muttered as the cat's eyes narrowed in anger.
The team yelled in unison, scrambling for spot behind Y/n as the now-enormous Cattus began swiping its massive claws. Even the ever-confident Commander Kokoci dove behind Y/n, who instinctively raised her hands. "Barrier Shield!" she called out, encasing the group in a glowing protective dome just in time to deflect a powerful scratch.
"What kind of monster did you bring back?!" Kokoci shouted, peeking out nervously from behind Y/n, his composure utterly shattered.

Y/n sighed in relief as she approached her cozy little house. It was a modest two-story building painted a warm brown, nestled comfortably in the quiet neighborhood. She paused at the front door, her hand reaching for the handle, ready to push it open and eager to step inside after the long day.
Before she could, the door swung open from the inside. Y/n blinked in surprise as her mother appeared, slightly out of breath, as though she had just dashed down from the second floor. Her warm smile lit up her face as she looked at her daughter.
"Y/n, welcome home!" Without waiting for a reply, her mother pulled her into a tight embrace, her arms wrapping securely around Y/n. The sudden affection caught her off guard, but a small, contented smile tugged at her lips as she returned the hug.
There was no need for words; the warmth of the hug said it all—she was home.
After closing the door, her mother gently guided her toward the dining room. "You must be exhausted after your adventure," she said with a knowing look, placing her hands lightly on Y/n's shoulders and nudging her to sit down.
At first, Y/n tried to get up and help, but her mother waved her off with a playful scold. "No, no! You've done enough. Just sit there, and let me take care of you." Y/n chuckled softly, appreciating her mother's fussing.
"How was your day, Mom?" Y/n asked, leaning back into the chair as her mother bustled about the kitchen, setting out freshly cooked food.
Her mother turned to her with a bright smile, her hands busy arranging plates. "Oh, it was just fine, dear! Nothing to worry about." Then, her tone grew excited as she looked over her shoulder. "But never mind me—tell me all about your adventure! I want to hear everything!"
Y/n smiled warmly, her heart filling with gratitude. Y/n began to recount her mission with TAPOPS, her voice animated as she shared every detail from start to finish. Her mother listened intently, occasionally nodding or gasping in surprise.
"It all started when Commander Kokoci assigned us to find an Power Sphera," Y/n began, leaning forward with excitement. She described the peculiar villagers, the discovery of the Gurunda Monster, and the startling revelation that the creature wasn't just a feral beast but a guardian protecting the Power Sphera, Bellbot.
Her mother's eyes widened at the part where the cat transformed into a giant, raging creature. "And then what happened?" she prompted eagerly.
"Well, it wasn't easy," Y/n continued, "but with teamwork and a little bit of luck, we managed to calm it down. Though, let's just say Gopal might have caused some... sticky situations with his food transformations." She chuckled, thinking about Gopal accidentally turning the cacti into gummies. "But Yaya and Ying's power was so cool, they act so fast!"
Her mother laughed heartily, shaking her head. "That boy always seems to find a way to make things interesting."
"And then there's Boboiboy," Y/n said, gesturing as she described the events. "He's pretty impressive, honestly. Even when his watch wasn't working, he kept his cool and found a way to help us. It's like he just knows how to rally everyone together, even when things look bad."
Her mother nodded thoughtfully. "Sounds like a natural leader."
Y/n shrugged with a small smile. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. He's someone you can depend on, for sure. Like when I was running toward the monster to help, he just picked me up with his wind element without even a second thought. Said I'd never make it in time on foot." She shook her head lightly. "He's definitely efficient, I'll give him that."
Her mother smiled warmly, listening intently as Y/n eagerly shared her story. She couldn't help but feel a deep sense of joy seeing her child so animated. Y/n finally had friends to talk about—a change her mother had quietly hoped for, knowing how shy and reserved Y/n had always been around classmates.
As dinner came to an end, Y/n stood up, ready to help with the dishes. But her mother gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. "No, sweetheart," she said softly. "You've had a long day. Go and rest. Let me handle this."
Y/n hesitated for a moment, but then she smiled. Leaning down, she pressed a light kiss to her mother's cheek. "Goodnight, Mom," she said warmly before turning and heading upstairs. Her footsteps echoed softly as she ran up, her (h/c) hair bouncing with each step. Her mother watched her go, a fond smile lingering on her face, her heart filled with quiet contentment.
When Y/n entered her room, she immediately flopped onto her fluffy bed, letting out a muffled groan against her pillow. Frustration bubbled inside her. She knew her powers were defensive, meant for protection rather than combat, but a nagging thought told her there was more to the mysterious watch she wore.
Rolling onto her back, Y/n stared at the ceiling for a moment before raising her hand to examine the watch. Its sleek design caught the light—a (w/c)-colored device with a hexagon-shaped outline around the screen. At first glance, it appeared ordinary, displaying nothing more than the time, like any other watch. But Y/n knew better. There was something hidden within its seemingly simple exterior, something she hadn't fully unlocked.
She lowered her arm with a sigh, boredom and curiosity swirling in her mind. As of now, she had no clear understanding of the watch's full potential, no clues to unravel its secrets.
The watch had been a gift from her mother on her 11th birthday. At the time, Y/n thought it was just a cool, thoughtful present—until the day it activated. That was when she used its power for the first time, saving Yaya and Ying from a dangerous accident. Since then, the watch had become both a mystery and a burden, its untapped abilities leaving her with more questions than answers.
As Y/n glanced at the watch again, her eyes widened when she noticed the time. "Oh shoot! I've got a meeting with them tomorrow!" she exclaimed, sitting up abruptly.
Wasting no time, she quickly changed into her pajamas and slid under the covers. Pulling the blanket up to her chin, she closed her eyes, willing herself to sleep. Tomorrow would be another big day, and she needed all the energy she could get.

A soft yawn escaped Y/n as she approached Tok Aba's shop. She blamed herself for overthinking the previous night, leaving her feeling a little drained today. Thankfully, the team decided to meet up at Tok Aba's—a spot she cherished. Not only was it nestled in a peaceful park, but it also had cozy little cabins nearby where she often enjoyed knitting in solitude.
When she arrived, her eyes quickly landed on two familiar figures seated at one of the tables. It was Boboiboy and Gopal. Hearing her footsteps, the two boys turned around, their faces lighting up as they waved energetically.
"Hi, Y/n!" they called out in unison.
She smiled and waved back before making her way over to sit beside Boboiboy. "Hey, guys!" she greeted cheerfully. However, she soon noticed the frown on the elemental boy's face.
"Err... Are you okay, Boboiboy?" she asked, tilting her head slightly in concern.
Boboiboy let out a heavy sigh, which immediately prompted Gopal to point at him dramatically. "Dei, it's the second time you've sighed since you got here!" he complained.
"It's my watch," Boboiboy admitted, holding up the device on his wrist. His tone was laced with frustration. "What's wrong with it? Why isn't it working right?"
Y/n leaned back slightly, recalling the issues his watch had during their last mission. Absentmindedly, she muttered, "Oh, same problem, huh?"
Boboiboy perked up, raising an eyebrow at her. "Wait, what did you say?"
Realizing she'd spoken aloud, Y/n quickly sat upright, her expression feigning innocence. "Huh? Did I say something?" Gopal narrowed his eyes at her, clearly suspicious. "You definitely said something! What do you know?"
Y/n waved her hands dismissively, trying to change the subject. "Nothing, nothing at all! I was just... uh... admiring the scenery!"
Boboiboy gave Y/n a skeptical look but decided to let her talk. "Really?" he pressed, and both boys leaned in closer, their curiosity clearly piqued. Y/n, feeling their stares boring into her, sighed in defeat. "Alright, fine," she relented. "It's about my watch."
She raised her hand, revealing the sleek device on her wrist. Gopal leaned forward, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, while Boboiboy examined it closely.
"I don't see anything wrong with it," Gopal said, tilting his head. Y/n shot him a deadpan look, but Boboiboy seemed to have a lightbulb moment. "Oh, yeah! Now that you mention it... I was wondering yesterday. How did you get superpowers like us?"
Gopal's eyes widened as he let out a loud "Oooh!" of realization. Y/n was secretly grateful Boboiboy had asked the question she was expecting, and she shrugged nonchalantly. "It was a birthday present from my mom," she explained. "I thought it was just a normal watch—until it activated its power."
To demonstrate, Y/n raised her hand and summoned a small shield platform in front of them. The translucent barrier shimmered faintly, earning an impressed "Whoa!" from both boys.
Boboiboy leaned forward and gave it a curious knock. "It's really solid," he observed. Gopal, never one to back down from a challenge, stepped forward confidently. "Step aside! Let me try punching it!" He wound up dramatically before delivering a solid punch.
Thump.
"Huhu... my hand..." Gopal whimpered, retreating back to his seat while cradling his reddened hand. Y/n couldn't help but sweatdrop at his action. "Only now I've realized," she began with a slight chuckle, "that my shield is purely defensive. It can protect you guys, but it doesn't exactly fight back."
Boboiboy grinned at Y/n, his tone brimming with sincerity. "That's still awesome, Y/n! Your shield saved us plenty of times yesterday!" Y/n blinked, a bit taken aback by his compliment. She rubbed the back of her neck, a slight sheepishness in her tone. "Oh... uh, thanks, Boboiboy."
Gopal, watching the interaction with a smirk, leaned back, clearly enjoying the moment.
Just then, Ochobot floated over, balancing two steaming cups of hot cacao for Boboiboy and Y/n. Gopal's eyes widened as he pointed at the drinks. "Hey! How come they get cacao and I don't?"
Ochobot didn't even glance at him, his mechanical voice laced with sarcasm. "Why don't you take it up with Tok Aba? He's still waiting for you to settle all your debts!"
Hearing that, Gopal immediately laughed nervously, waving his hands in surrender. "Ahaha, no need for that! I was just joking!"
Ochobot turned his attention to Y/n, scanning her watch with his digital sensors. After a moment, his computer-like face frowned. "Hmm, I'm sorry, Y/n. I can't seem to find any data on your watch."
Y/n sighed, nodding in resignation. "Thanks anyway, Ochobot. Guess that's another dead end."
"Check Boboiboy's watch too," Y/n suggested, gesturing toward her friend. Ochobot floated closer to Boboiboy, scanning the elemental boy's watch. "Ever since you came back from Planet Gurunda, your Power Watch has been acting strange," Ochobot reported.
"Just give him a new one. What's the big deal?" Gopal said with a casual wave, earning a deadpan look from Y/n. Ochobot crossed his arms in annoyance. "Easy for you to say, Gopal."
"You need to help me fix it, Ochobot! If not, how am I supposed to do my missions?" Boboiboy frowned, leaning toward Ochobot.
As Y/n quietly sipped her cacao, a sudden voice from behind startled her. "Don't worry about that! You've still got us both!" Y/n nearly choked on her drink, coughing as she quickly covered her face in embarrassment. "Don't suprised me like that, Yaya..." she muttered through her hands.
Yaya chuckled, patting Y/n's back apologetically. Ying appeared of nowhere, her usual energetic smile lighting up her face. "Yaya's right! With both of us, any mission's a walk in the park!" Y/n know she's mocking them. The teasing tone didn't go unnoticed by Y/n, who raised an eyebrow at Ying. "You're just mocking them now, aren't you?"
"Of course not!" Ying replied, feigning innocence, though her smirk said otherwise.
The boys exchanged unimpressed looks, both sighing dramatically. "Right..." they said in unison, their half-lidded eyes speaking volumes. Gopal, however, wasn't going to let this slide. He crossed his arms and smirked. "Sheesh, if you two are so amazing, why don't you go and take Bellbot from Cattus over there?" He pointed at Cattus, who was sprawled out lazily in the sun, enjoying its warmth.
Ying immediately frowned, taking a cautious step back. "Are you out of your mind? What if it goes crazy?"
"Oh, didn't you just say you were so great?" Boboiboy joined in, the boys now tag-teaming their teasing.
Y/n chuckled softly at their antics but was soon distracted by a soft nudge against her leg. She glanced down to see Cattus rubbing against her, purring contentedly. She crouched, gently scratching behind its ears. "Cattus? What's up?"
Her question caught the team's attention, and all eyes turned toward the feline. A loud, rumbling growl from Cattus's stomach answered for it. Yaya smiled knowingly. "Looks like it'shungry!"
Gopal perked up instantly, puffing out his chest. "Hungry? No problem!" With a mischievous grin, he pointed toward a few nearby items in the shop and quickly activated his power. "Cat food transformation!"
Boboiboy's eyes widened in alarm. "Hey! Tok Aba's not gonna like that!"
Gopal simply waved him off. "Shh! He'll never notice." He placed a bowl of freshly transformed cat food in front of Cattus, who sniffed in disgust. Boboiboy winded his eyes "Eh? It's doesn't like it?"
"Tch, choosy little fella," Gopal muttered under his breath as he eyed the cat. His tone and dismissive attitude made Y/n frown at him, but he shrugged off her disapproval and did something unexpected—he grabbed some of the cat food and started eating it himself.
Boboiboy's eyes widened in disbelief. "Eh? Why are you eating that?! It's cat food, Gopal!"
Gopal, completely unfazed, simply mumbled through a full mouth, "I'm hungry." His nonchalant response made both Ying and Y/n recoil in disgust, their faces scrunching up as they turned away.
Meanwhile, Yaya crouched down and addressed Bellbot. "What does Cattus usually eat? Anything in particular?" Bellbot tilted his metallic face. "I'm not sure! I usually turn my back when it's eating. You know, to avoid being tracked by hunters."
Y/n tapped her chin thoughtfully before an idea struck her. "Oh! How about raw fish? It's a cat, after all." She gently patted Cattus's ear and looked over at Boboiboy for confirmation. The elemental boy nodded in agreement. "That's a good idea. Let's head to the jetty and see if we can get some fresh fish." He stood up alongside Y/n, sharing a small determined smile.
"Let's go!" Y/n cheered, and the rest of the team got up to follow, everyone ready for their impromptu mission—except for Gopal, who lingered behind, muttering under his breath.
"Picky little thing! So troublesome!" he grumbled, glaring at Cattus. "Why don't you just get lost already!" As if understanding the insult, Cattus immediately lashed out, claws scratching at Gopal from head to toe. "Ow! Hey! What did I do?!" he yellled.
