STRUCTURE OF ENGLISH(ADVANCE).

1.  S + run out of + St = There is/are no + St + left.(hết sạch thứ gì đó).

       Ex:  We run out of coffee = there is no coffee left.

2. It takes + (Sb) + time + To V = Sb + spend + time + V_ing.(mất bao nhiêu giờ để làm gì)

       Ex: It takes me 2 hours to do this homework = I spend 2 hours doing this homework.

3. S + to be + proud of + St/Sb/V_ing = S + pride in + St/Sb/V_ing.(tự hào về…).

       Ex: He’s proud of his son = He prides in his son.

4. S + have good knowledge of St/V_ing = S + to be + good at + St/V_ing(giỏi về…)

       Ex: My dad has good knowledge of football = My dad is good at football.

5. Stative verb like: taste, look, sound, smell… + Adj.

(thông thường thì Verb phải đi với Adv nhưng với các Verb trên thì có sự đặc biệt)

       Ex: My meal smells very delicious.

             She looks beautiful.

6. S + find/feel St/Sb + Adj +….(cảm thấy ai/cái gì ntn).

       Ex: I find this work difficult.

7. S + to be used to + V_ing # S + used to + Vo.

(Cảm thấy quen với việc gì # Đã từng quen với việc gì).

       Ex: I’m used to getting up early # I used to get up early.

8. S + to be + afraid of + St/Sb/V_ing(sợ cái gì…).

       Ex:  I’m afraid of my mom.

9. It is + possible/impossible for Sb + To V + O = Sb + Can/could(not) + Vo + O(Ai có thể/ko thể làm gì).

       Ex: It’s possible for me to play this game = I can’t play this game.

10. List of how to ask about price.

       How + much + is/are + St? ex: How much is this pen(it)?

       What is the price of + S?     ex: What is the price of this pen?

       How does + St + cost?          ex: How does this pen costs?

11. How to express the hobby.

       S + to be + interested in + V_ing.

       S + to be + keen on + V_ing.

       S + to be + fond of + V_ing.

       S + like + V_ing .

       S + enjoy + V_ing.

12. There + to be + no + point/use in + V_ing = It’s pointless/useless + To V + N(không có ích khi làm gì…)

       Ex: There is no point in playing this game = It’s pointless to play this game.

13. S + look + forward + to + V_ing(mong đợi điều gì).

       Ex: I’m looking forward to seeing you.

14. It’s time + for + Sb + To V + St = It’s time + Sb + V_ed +St(đã đến lúc ai phải làm gì).

       Ex: It’s time for him to kill this chicken = It’s time him killed this chicken.

15. S + succeed in V_ing… = have success in V_ing(thành công trong việc gì).

(trái ngược với “ S + fail + To V…)

       Ex: I succeed in studying.

16. S + insist on + V_ing(khăng khăng đòi cái gì đó…).

       Ex: The baby insists on playing with a knife.

17. S + break a record for + St(phá vỡ kỉ lục gì).

       Ex: Usan Bolt has broken a record for 100m-run road.

18. S + break + (possessive case)word(ai đó không giữ lời hứa).

       Ex: He always breaks his word.

       Ex: I’m tidying my closet now.

20. S + to be + engaged = S + get + engaged(đính hôn).

23. S + prevent + Sb + from + St = S + stop + Sb + from + St(ngăn cấm ai khỏi cái gì).

       Ex: I prevent my girl friend from using  cigarettes(smoking).

24. S + lend + Sb + St = S + lend St + to + Sb(ai cho ai mượn cái gì).

       ( Sb + borrow + St +from + S).

       Ex: I lend Hoàng little money = I lend little money to Hoang.

25. S + to be + against + V_ing/St/Sb(chống lại cái gì…).

       Ex: I’m against my boss when he hit me.

27. S + to be + upset about/with + V_ing/St/Sb = S + to be + fed up with + … = S + to be + bored with + V_ing…(buồn/chán ngấy với …).

       Ex: I’m upset about my work = I’m fed up with my work.

       (Chào hỏi xã giao).

       Ex: I’m getting on you.

29. S + to be (un)likely + To V(…có(không)  thể/khả năng).

       Ex: I’m likely to do this exercise.

30. S + to be + in charge of + V_ing/St = S + to be + responsible for + V_ing/St = (One of) my responsibilities + to be … = My responsibility + to be +…(trách nhiệm của tôi là…).

       Ex: I’m in charge of advertising company’s products = My responsibility is advertising company’s product.

31. S + work + for +…(làm cho …).

       Ex: My father works  for  Quang Ninh port.

       S + work + on + …(làm trong bộ phận…).

       Ex: I work on advertising department.

32. S + run + company/… = S + manage + company/… = S + control + company/…(điều hành công ty…).

       Ex: I’m running Tan Tan restaurant now = I’m controlling Tan Tan restaurant now.

33. S + deal with + Sb/St + V_ing = S + work with + Sb/St + V_ing(làm việc với ai/cái gì…).

       Ex:  I deal with a chef all day = I work with a chef all day.

49. S + keep in mind+ St = S + remember + St(ghi nhớ cái gì).

       Ex: I kept in mind a lesson yesterday = I remember a lesson yesterday.

50. S + introduce Sb1 + Sb2 = S + introduce Sb2 to Sb1(giới thiệu Sb2 với Sb1).

       Ex: Let me introduce you my friend = Let me introduce my friend to you.
