It was a long-lost story from Heaven.
There was once a lowly human, born from the bottom and rising to the top.
In quiet grace, she was beyond compare. Flowers grudged her glamor and willows craved her fresh hue. Endowed with inherent intelligence, she was no doubt the symbol of wisdom. Even the Supreme Deity would favor her.
She was then granted the Grace โธฝ Blessing โธฝ by the Deity and became a demigoddess. The whole thing was, indubitably, unprecedented. A humble being but then a creator.
Such an individual, however, foretold the catastrophe.
Knowledge is truly a double-edged sword that constantly lures man to travel further, but which can also destroy him if he journeys too far.
The demigoddess vouchsafed creatures their own "wisdom", under the cover of "books", for them to overcome their self-imposed limitations. The books themselves are imbued with magical powers and have supernatural properties intrinsically. They are later called "grimoire".
In other words, the demigoddess has shared her power with every race.
Of all races, human, by time, has turned that power to his and used this gift effectively.
At first, things turned out well when life became easier for them.
That period saw the rise of product operation. People are allowed to exploit tougher soil, try new crops, and have more time for other activities. Yet, magic was used also for fame, for monetary gain beyond what is needed. To destroy life for the gain of something imaginary has to be a kind of societal madness.
The "greed" seed was revealed to be the culprit.
It allowed men to rapidly advance both in wisdom and physical body, evoke unexpected talents.
As human desires were stronger and stronger, the limit was got rid of. When the greed was too much, the destruction started.
The most frightening things that "greed" seed have brought up are [ cruelty ] and [ selfishness ], which can destroy a man's "humanity" and revert him back to "animal".
The Supreme Deity got aggressive when witnessing each and every crime man has committed.
To punish the demigoddess that had granted [ magic ] to every human, the Supreme Deity excluded the demigoddess from Heaven.
It was said that, on the exclusion day...
A ravaging storm blew pitilessly
without care for her gem nor heed for her scent.
She was then neither a creature nor a creator but an unwelcome visitor in this big world.
The Grace she was blessed with became a curse to her.
In the flowing river of time, she would always be left alone; for she had long surpassed the definition of "mortal" and become an immortalist herself.
Until the world ends or Heaven collapses, when the gate of Underworld opens, let the "once" demigoddess slowly suffer from endless agony.
